also a guy had two 600w HPS in his 4x4x6 tent and is that the way I should be looking?

I would shoot for a single 600. Its more efficient way of growing anyway. If you do two 600’s you should really be adding co2, and that gets expensive too.

I put in my order for ten WW yesterday, but won’t hear back from them until tomorrow as i went with the bank thing, they haven’t sent me the email yet and i expect it when they get to work over there.

I really like the air cooled hoods in tent. If you spend any extra money I would make it on that. Keeps temps nice and manageable.

I’ll have air cooled hood, fans, and a stealth filter for smell. my next project is figuring out all the meters i’m going to need to check stuff lol.

Buy a decent ph pen and cheap tds tester. That’s plenty.

Hey @dbrn32, I talked to my young lady today and she did indeed have the cheaper LED lights and appreciated that you reinforced her disdain for them. I was reading up on coco for the soil and i will be using their soil made up for growing and they have that in it. The lights that she is getting for me are LEC which they have at least ten grow systems working with them so that is good. I suspect that they will have the right size for my 4x4 tent(she really does a lot of reading and tech because of her health issues. but, what size LEC should i have for my 4x4 so i have kind of a check and balance going on it.

Btw, in talking to you guys on here i have more respect and understanding of my young lady helpiing me in town. I was a little doubtful in my interaction with her (two instances)because my frame of reference didn’t match with what she was telling me, but after talking to you guys and comparing her stuff you both seem to be walking similar paths. I was the guy who looked at others tests in class and when i saw that they were different i wouldn’t change mine figuring i was right LOL. I was typically looking at the smartest kid’s in class test but didn’t matter, mine was right! but with two people telling me i’m wrong it is easier for me to accept lol.

Right vs wrong is very subjective, what we highlighted with lights is prime example of that. If I struggle with a piece of equipment or particular growing method doesn’t make it bad, just not good for me. If you see a particular grow or member crushing it with specific equipment there’s no guarantee that your results will be the same. In just about every scenario really good grows are the product of the particular grower understanding all of their equipment and maximizing how to use it.
That being said, lec is a good choice. It will land you between standard hps and the higher end leds in terms of photon efficacy, and has a very wide spectral distribution range. I’ve only seen a couple in person, but it seemed like the 630 fixtures that held two of the 315 bulbs would be very nice in a 4x4.

The system she is setting up for me is just one of the bulbs and she gave me a price for the double bulb fixture but that was 500 more. What she has set up for me is 287 and i will go with that. She said there would be room to add another fixture and i will probably do that when my finances catch up with my plan. I told her I would like to keep the whole system to 1000 as that is me scrimping on budget for two months to have that available. But I would be able to add the fixture in the next month and take that out of the budget for the second grow tent and will postpone that for another month. Thanks a bunch for getting back to me so fast. Now I will be pacing the floor and biting my nails trying to wait for a couple more weeks to get my next soc sec check in LOL. I am almost going cross-eyed with all the readiing i’ve done in the last 3 days.

Also, @dbrn32, they suggested I get my seeds from our local seed banks or Canada as they don’t have to go thru customs, and i know that Canada has some good seed groups, but i have always trusted Netherlands for seeds since sending away for seeds back in the 80’s and getting them here with no problem. and as i said previously, i have never seen a skunk#1 to compare with what i got back then. It made me happy to get the 20 for 10 deal on the WW as I will share 4 or 8 with those nice people helping me so that they can have some of your seeds to compare with what they are getting. Maybe it will drum up some more business for ILGM after they see that having them come from overseas is not that big a deal.

Nobody here will complain about more business lol. That’s what keeps the forum going. I know recently there have been members getting their seeds within a few days, which suggests those aren’t going through customs either.

Should I be concerned @dbrn32? I put an order in for ww and it showed up for my account points but is pending. But I haven’t received my email from them detailing how to deal with the bank transfer.
You can email customer support and ask them. I haven’t done bank transfer sorry. I don’t think they will ship until paid for.
@dbrn32, it has been since Sat, but i know they don’t work the weekends, i just kinda expected to here from them by now. If i don’t get an email by Thursday i will contact cust support. I don’t want to look too desperate lol
