Perfect conditions for dark period

Hey everyone, do I need to let the soil dry out before the dark period before harvesting?

No. Just water as usual.

I stop watering two days before harvest as it cuts down drying time.

I stop together. Give (1/2 regular size) last watering at start of dark.

I water up to the day I harvest and I have had zero issues.

I water night before specifically to slow down drying time…

I live in the desert so I purposely water really well the day before I cut them down this helps slow the drying down. I don’t mess with the dark thing imo it’s another fad that will pass

I actually started liking to water right before putting them in the dark because the water in the medium keeps the microbes alive and in about a month they’ll eat all the root matter
