After topping the two new colas are stretching more & the lower branches have definitely gotten thicker and longer
Good morning update from the girlies: they’re looking good! The big one almost has an even canopy.
I’ve just been pulling back leaves and exposing budsites
My girl on the left is sky rocketing! It’s been like 3 or 4 days since I Iast measured her but, she’s now 10"! Before she was around 6". I’m quite impressed and intrigued by her progress. Mind you, these are old bag seeds from like a year ago, so I’m just happy their growing

@Growdoc it looks like all my girls recovered from that overwatering! No more puffy leaves ; thanks bro! However, the roots are starting to show at the bottom of my big girl. Will she be fine through flower, or should I up pot her to a 5 gal? She’s currently in a 3.
You could get through in three , if you feel you need more , up pot to the 5 but before you flip her so she don’t stress.
Good for you, we’re rootin for ya! Theyre healthy.
3 and 5 ok, how often do you want to water. More is less, less is more. Makes very little diff to the weed.
Thanks @Growdoc & @Jaysittinback for the reassurance. I guess I’ll see how she does over the next week or two before she gets flipped. I’ve seen some monster grows in 3G coco, but I guess I’m nervous about the roots becoming overcrowded for the next two months
I plan on running this grow in 3 gallon pots with coco all the way .
Okay bet! So I’m not alone in this lol. I just read somewhere that the roots stop growing as much past week two of flower, so I think we’re good! I’m surprised she reached the bottom of the pot that fast tho
Topped the big girl 4x today wasn’t sure if I should but I called one of my gro bro’s and they suggested I do it so that I can even out the canopy. We’ll see how she looks in a couple of days!
Seeing some of her leaves get darker, so I’m going to lighten the l feed a little. Been going in at 5.8 & 8-900 ppm. Run off last night was at 5.6 & 600ppm? I checked like 12hrs later tho. She looks good tho! Will bring up the PH to 6.1 in a couple of days in preparation for flower. I need to get Dr. Earth Flower girl and one of their liquid nutes for flower. So far, so good!
She’s definitely gotten wider and taller! She’s about 11" tall now & more than 14" wide. Also dropped her down 6" from the light yesterday, so she’s about 15"-16" away from the lights at 75%. Will check ppfd soon. Leaves still praying to that Aglex spectrum

Other girly is looking great . Her leaves are starting to darken as well, so I will give her the same adjusted feed.
All the stems look like they’ve reached the canopy/same height!

Stems are also looking frosty, anyone knows what that means? It looks so cool!
Younger girls are screaming at me for a transplant😭 need to go to Home Depot ASAP
Okay guys, a little update time! So, since I watered her like 2x-3x in the past 3days, i figured I’ve been overwatering her, causing her leaves to darken and the stems on the fan leaves to turn purple/red(maybe?). Also noticed one or two leaves have dark red/brown spots, which could be an excess of phosphorus or potassium, causing a slight deficiency of cal & mag. It’s only on a couple of leaves, but it’s better that I catch it now. Not going to water her for the next 3 days. I keep forgetting my mix has vermiculite, so I don’t have to water so often, she was just a vibrant green two days ago it’s okay tho! We’re gonna fix her up
Ph last night was at 5.4 this time so I gave her a low dose feed (200ppm/400EC) at 6.1 pH, thinking it would raise it up, but only slightly, to 5.6

My other girl however has little to no purpling on the stems, however, her leaves are getting darker and some of the new growth is displaying cool, but weird dark/light green coloring. Also, one of her big fan leaves started to get some light green coloring in between the veins a couple days ago, but now it seems to be healing a little? This all leads me to think this is a phosphorus excess leading to mag & cal deficiency-- @Growdoc & @OGIncognito what do you guys think? The run off pH was 6.7 and EC was 1.8! I’ve been feeding both girls the same thing but the symptoms look a little different, obvs cause of genetics
That’s actually in range, I do see a bit of mag deficiency just starting. Why do you think you have an excess of photons potassium? Are you giving them bloom boosters?
No bloom boosters yet, but the dry amendments im using has a ratio of 463 & I’m feeding with a 1-1-1 liquid fert. Mixed the dry in the soil about a month ago at transplant and top dressed about a week ago. Not sure if my ratio’s too high now with the frequent watering and high ppm/EC. But I guess we’ll see in a couple of days. I’m thinking of only feeding them a low dose nute solution until flower, since my dry fert usually last about 2 months. But my thinking was the excess phosphorus is causing the mag deficiency, so to cull it, just feed the low nute solution
I feel like you should be feeding with one or the other, both could be excessive…
So this morning, I noticed the tip of one of the leaves of new growth is showing slight signs of nuts burn looks like I was right @Growdoc , unfortunately lol. It looks like 1.8 with my nutes is too much, so I’ll dial her back in at 1.5. The other girl is looking nice still!
They look healthy overall tho, better to catch the symptoms early! Watering coming in a day or two

I ran my Blackberry Moonrocks grow at 1.4-1.6 and they did very well with it! They are just starting to burn, back off a bit and they should be perfect.
Okay bet! We’re gonna dial her in like a radio contest
Update time! So I watered the 1G girlie today and she was thirsty! Fed her a low nute solution . pH/ppm in was 5.9/200 & out was 6.15/400. She was definitely hungry! A major drop from the last watering which was 6.7/900. She should be doing great now and I may feed with 400ppm solution until flower begins. Mag deficiency looks like it’s gone now and she’s recovering nicely, just a little nute burn on a couple leaves. We should have her dialed in now🤟🏽
Big girl still doing her thang
Fed the big girl today and she was thirsty! Gave her a whole gallon of a low nute solution (pH 6.0/ppm 60) and the runoff ph/ppm was was 5.2/600. I guess the ppm is good but the pH is way off. Going to water her in two days with a 400ppm nute solution at 6 pH and see how she does. So far, I noticed a couple more leaves getting “rust spots”, but overall, she’s healthy! Her leaves were dropping a bit so she def needed that watering! I want to flip to flower on Friday, but I may wait till Valentine’s Day
Also did a light defol and added a clone to my collection the other two are about a week old, still no roots
Update time: fed the 1G Ez today because she was bone dry-- def time to up pot her. pH/ppm in was 5.9/100 . Out was 5.9/400 her leaves that showed mag deficiency have rebounded, but the new growth looks weird. I’m monitoring that. Also, one of her leaves has this cool camo appearance , I wonder if I can get some pants in that design:joy:
As for the big girlie… she’s getting flipped tomorrow! Feb 7th same day as me and my wife’s anniversary so for good luck, hope she’s a girl
she’s def over 12" tall now, and those side branches that got topped are going crazyyy!
It seems like it might be time to start pumping some nutrients into her.
