I spray once a week with Bt regularly as a preventative. There are always moths flying around the the garden. Those little suckers can wipe out a plant quick.

Yea his is a straight killer , birds more than anything, and he likes to leave his kills by the back door !

So when will you stop spraying??

Bt can be sprayed up to the day of harvest as it is a biological insecticide. I have not heard of anyone complaining about Bt affecting taste like some do about Neem treatments. Practically speaking tho it would be a waste to spray Bt any closer than 3 or 4 days to harvest as the treatments take time for the bacteria to destroy the caterpillars.

This cat friends with the dogs, however, she stays out of the backyard, and hunts out front, birds and rats. She comes from a long line of farm cats.

Going to spray that BT tonight you recommend,

I’d suggest daytime application, that’s what I do so it dries faster. You should be ok, mold/mildew concerns not that high around here yet.
