Outdoor grow 2025

I figure I’m in for a learning experience. I planted directly the ground.

I use garden edging to help water and compost tea soak down into my plants root ball. I’ve got 2 autos in each spot about 36 inches apart. I hope that’s enough room.

I used 5 gallon nursery pots for my 2 auto’s I’m not transplanting it has enough room to finish I started the auto’s in small containers like the photo and transplant into 5 gallon I was careful not to disturb the roots I’ll try going directly into the 5 gallon next time but that lsd grew small and budded quickly not much yield but good smoke

I’ve heard auto can be small sometimes. I started my autos in a solo cup but then put them into the ground being careful not to disturb the roots 3 days after they popped out of the soil. I noticed good growth today.

10 gallons of the good stuff to feed the ladies later today.

Worm castings, fish emulsion, kelp meal, blood meal, humic acid, Mycorrhizae, and molasses is today’s recipe

The ladies look great. I’ll spray with bt this evening for prevention of the stalk borrers and other caterpillars or worms. I think their color looks good but i still added more blood meal to the compost tea. The autos had zero effects from transplant and look great also.

The ladies are absolutely going hog wild. There has been a substantial amount of growth over the last 7-10 days. Some of these girls are already 4ft tall and 4 ft in diameter. Those rings i use around my plants are 3ft diameter.

The ladies just got a hair cut. The only thing touching the ground now is their roots. My smallest white widow has a stalk borrer in her. I’ll watch her for a few days if she gets sick I’ll just probably just pull her.

Well the skunk plant the cat ate decided to live and start growing. So far I’ve tested 7 and got 7 males. Surely this is the one that will be female. Not even bothering with a test this time! I just planted her(being optimistic) in the ground.

The plant shows no signs of being invaded but clearly i can see the hole left by the stalk borrer.

Use the tea? Or throw it out?

I’ve got four 5 gallon buckets of compost tea brewing. I’m getting no foam and it’s been brewing for 12 hours. I think it’s to warm but not sure if it’s still safe to use or if i should throw it out. I know it’s been foamy everytime I’ve made up until now.

I would use it. I have read several diffent articles on compost tea. I recently read an article saying if you are using compost, just let it soak and stir well for 5-10 min. All the good stuff will have seperated . But there are many more great growers that can help you out. Just my 2 cents. :facepunch:

@Happyday420 man i got home from work and all 4 buckets got a nice layer of foam on them. Maybe 12 hours was just not enough time to brew or maybe the buckets cooled off enough. Either way i feel allot better about using it.

Ladies looked happy this morning. They’ll be getting another chop today. And I’ve got unwanted weeds in the garden i need to take care of.
