Quick little hardening area for the girls.Sure ain’t pretty.
Upper 60s this afternoon so it looks like they will get a few hrs on nature sunlight later today. Probably shoot for about 5hrs of sun today. Slowly increase it over the next week. Let them spend some time in there new homes, before transplanting, to acclimate to the environment.
Oh baby here we go…

First day the girls have ever felt natural sunlight. Oh it’s a beautiful beautiful thing. All the plants seem to love the fresh air. I will be moving them outside during the days and inside during the nights. The first week will all be under the shade cloth. Followed by a few days of direct sun before I transplant.
The one I set in the 100gal is a Lemon Tree Punch. Not quite as large as I has hoping for at this point in time but still a nice size. All could use some LST but am going to hold off for a few weeks. Less stress.

The plants are loving the sun today. Even under the shade cloth.
Added some worms to the soil yesterday. Super excited about this.

Shade cloth down. Greenhouse tarp up. One step deeper down the rabbit hole of the hardening phase. All plants seem to be reacting real nice like. Way past due for some LST but trying to wait tell the main transplant is done.
I’m astonished every year how powerful the sun is. Nothing can even compare. We live in a truly amazing world.
Indoor girls look like death. All got an intense blast of every light when I removed the outdoor girls. I also ended up transplanting them the same day. Way? I really don’t know. I was thinking of what ‘I’ wanted to do rather then what was best for the plant. Whoops!
I released all LST points when I transplanted. Plan on pulling them all down again this weekend.
Swooped up some clones a few weeks ago. They were on their last legs about to hit the trash. I couldn’t let them be dumped so I adapted them you could say. It’s the dad in me. A few Block Partys and the rest our Grape Coockie.
The indoor girls are just a bonus. The main goal was it make it to outdoor.

I hope all you amazing farmers have a fantastic day. Spread that positive love and energy amongst the ones around you and let it flow into the roots of the garden.

Toms of forward progress on the farm. Come alive soil come alive
Cover crops and worms added to greenhouse 5-8. Plus a few extra pots here and there.
Greenhouse 1-4 will be done this next week. All irrigation on the farm is cleared and working great.
Time to get 2,400 little laddies soon.

Another few days of rain and we should be good to go. Extended the tarp today and spaced out each plant. This afternoon I will be doing some LST to all.
I know its close to transplant but I feel it is much needed.
I will also be giving all some fish/crab /shrimp with bio char this afternoon. Maybe alittle European kelp.
I feel super grateful to have the chance to put these little laddies in the garden. It’s been kinda a strenuous ride since day one. Here in a few week I will be able to relax alittle more. Let those roots tap into the fresh soil. Soaking up the nutrients it needs while the sunshine works it’s magic. Oh yes! What a beautiful plant.

Only time will tell. Cold temps hit the canyon last night. Looks like droopy tomato plants. Hoping todays upper 60s will help.

Rain rain go away. Come again another day….
Hope all you crazy farmers are having a great start to the outdoor season. We have been experiencing some crazy weather over the past few weeks. Days and days of rain followed by night dipping into the very low 30s. Another few days of rain and we should be clear sky’s ahead.
Not all plants are looking too not but I think all should make it. I have really been working on creating a healthy living soil. Happy soil = happy plant. Well…. kinda! I was able to do some LSTing over the past few days. Need to get them plants the girth of those grow bags
Also I have a few clones I have been limping along for the past few weeks. Kinda a back up plan for the outdoor garden if the bigger girls didn’t pull threw that nasty 28 degree night. Lol As of now J will keep the clones in the outdoor garden for the next few months while I might room under the indoor light.
The four girls indoor are the first toro backup plan for the outdoor garden. Within the next two weeks the outdoors girls will perk up. If not these will be transplanted outside. If they aren’t transplanted outside I will flip them into bud. Try and pull alittle extra smoke off them.
Happy growing everyone…

Very thankful to have the opportunity to check out the Oregown farm. Pretty legit! No nutrients is added. Simply an amazing healthy living soil.
Our farm is now consider there sister/brother farm. Our team took enough clones for two of our greenhouses. Over the next few weeks we will fill the other six houses.
