I’m about to head in the living soil direct. What kind of cover crops are you using?

Thank you for the info. I guess all I had to do was scroll up. Whoops.
Your plant is looking much happier. I’m following along.

Thanks @Magilla12 for the web site. I spent a good deal of time reading last night and ordered some of their products. I’m going to visit the site tonight to digest some more info. I’m excited for the living soil adventure.

They seem to like it. Just watering with filtered water.

At what point are you going to cover your crop with straw? I’m assuming you have a handful of red rigglers in there too?

Amazing the difference two weeks make. Looking great!
I’m not positive on the deficiency going on. It’s not my strong suit. They look healthy and have been growing like that for a while.

@Budbrother @Myfriendis410 are much better at the diagnosis part.

Looks a bit heavy in nitrogen to me? Dark green burnt tips curling upwards? I’m no expert so… there is a chart demonstrating deficiencies. It’s a soil grow so fixing it will be complicated I’d be guessing?

Looks like the soil is too hot, and you have some burning going on. No big deal. Give it water only for a while. Do this until tips of new growth remain green.

  • It could also be K deficiency as well. Time for a soil slurry. Need to know the ph at the roots.

Filtered water is all they have had. The company I got the soil from said I could be over watering a bit. Time will tell I guess.

Thats possible, when you have a cover crop there is better water retention. Also less need to add nitrogen because the cover crop scavenges it from the air and afixes it to the soil. Other than the upturned edges it looks pretty happy? That cover crop looks in need of a lawn mower though.

Now is when you compost the clover with bokashi. You don’t need the added N during flowering

Interesting how the damage from the earlier part of the grow is left as evidence like rings in a tree.
