Organic Guide to growing Mary Jane

Perk up, not peek. Lol @garrigan62

Some great reading helping explain organic fertilizers vs non organic ferts and the effects one or the other has on the quality of the produce grown and what it provides us when we eat it…

Just ran across this book so my above description may be off a bit but I’m excited to have found this and look forward to reading and learning about it

@Skydiver, Hello from Louisiana, could not download the soil video. Was wanting to see his compost compared to mine. I use lots of natural matter layered with rotten table scraps mixed in and after a little over a year my garden loves it. Am trying it out on my first time grow. Will be watching your post, very interesting. Scott

Good deal Scott
Compost is a wonderful thing. After all you bought and paid for those scraps…lol no sense in putting in the trash what you can turn into critter grow food.

Which video did you have issues with? Which post numbers…I’ll see if I can repost for you.

@Skydiver, Thanks for the reply, the video is Living soil the ultimate beginners guide

Looks like that link to video is no longer…oh well many more out there

@Skydiver  I hope your Easter was well can I just put worms in a bucket or will it eat my roots

I grow with worm cassing a lot and organic that’s all I like

Worms eat dead and decaying things not living things.
Night crawlers are deeper feeders where as red wiggles are more top feeders. In order to keep them alive in a container they will need something to eat and also needs to have proper moisture content and PH or they will crawl out.
Do you have a worm bin to compost your left over veggies and fruit etc?

Good idea sky diver

I have a bed of worms outside in the flower ned

Will get a compost bin after my month lockdown is over

@Skydiver I love your forum, as a compost lover and maker The information you posted is a great read and guide to making just the right mix. I will read and soak in all your post. Thank you and hope your days are sunny and warm.

Thanks. Most I what I’ve posted I’ve learned from others that came before me…just trying to pay it forward and get people away from chemical oil plastic bottled nutrients for us and our earths benefit.

You rock brother and I want to thank you for your help in my journey. So far it’s been amazing. Total organic living soil is so much easier than all the chemical crap folks go through.
