Welcome to the group… for sure…
How r ur babies doin? Mine sprouted today ![]()
So my baby is 9ish days behind your 30 babies lol. I’m real curious to see the difference between autos indoors n outdoors. Can’t wait to trade pics with ya once our children actually get a lil size on em ![]()
The weather here has been up and down here lately but all the kids seem healthy enough. I’m a little concerned with them stretching out a bit. We’ve had some large temperature swings and too many cloudy days in a row. They seem lighter in color than the homegrown crosses I use for my big plants. The light color could also be wet feet. We had a sudden squall of rain Sunday morning while I was tending to a foaling mare. I didn’t arrive home until they’d had a half inch of rain on them. That was my mistake, not theirs. I am going to stake them all when they go their permanent homes in a few weeks. I imagine they will be a bit top heavy for the stalks when they flower. I hope they’re that heavy anyway!!! I’d rather be safe than sorry. I stake most everything outdoors. We can get some pretty good wind here in the river valley. They all have a good color and are starting their second set of lobed leaves. They are 10 days old today from seed. I am pleased thus far. I sprouted 29 of thirty. One showed a lot of curling in the first leaves. I culled it. Two more broke their necks trying to get out of the ground. There are 10 Amnesia Haze at bottom. 9 Blueberry in the mid rows. 7 Northern Lights in the top rows. Best of luck to you all.
I’m hopeful that we will all be a help to each other @ Tonyb, @Nuggyunlimited. It never hurts to have a comparative group to help out. I’m accustomed to doing every step alone except for harvest and trimming. Growing is still illegal here. Though it’s been a way of life for many families here since the 1970’s. Our Senate has a legalization bill in committee at present. Our governor is a supporter. So hopefully that will change for us in the next 12 months or so.
It’s still not legal in Michigan but they just signed off on a bill for medical we can apply for our license December hopefully recreational follows behind shortly. I’m all new to this and I’m learning so much following journals
I’m a firm believer that the cannabis community could OVERGROW the government if we’d all stick together and be willing to pay the price of failure. I have a cousin doing 6 years right now for cultivation and trafficking. It’s a dangerous game around here. I still can’t believe I started this public post. I was raised to keep my eyes forward and my mouth closed. Too many people around here these days can’t tend to their own business.
Ha I know what you mean, back when I grew up you didn’t fair to well for running your mouth.
Just don’t make no since
Ahhh mass, where I can legally have 9 plants growing in my house ![]()
I’m looking forward to that day @Tonyb. If you are a Kentuckian between the ages of 18 and 45, you are more likely to die of an opiate overdose than you are to die in an auto accident. But Glaxo Smith Kline and their scrip writing doctors go right on their merry way to the bank deposit box. Meanwhile I dodge John law every day of my life cause I’m a dangerous criminal fo some kind for growing a plant.
I hear that. The whole country is addicted to perks or heroin, or damn near. The last few years even way way way upstate NY where I was born n where alot of my family lives still is even having the heroin epidemic. Literally just today I read on fb about a 2 key bust in the town over from where I lived most of my life in CT and a bust of some absurd amount of lbs of heroin and 75k cash in Hartford ct, a city that is 45 minutes from my childhood house where my ma still lives
In the past twenty years we’ve somehow gone from ridge running country boys to meth cooks then to the oxy epidemic. The oxy has turned to H cause it’s cheaper and unemployment is rampant here. Legalization would change the landscape of our economy and living standard. Half the people I know under thirty have kids in the Foster system somewhere because they can’t stay away from that crap. With all that said, our local sheriff’s favorite pastime is busting pot growers big or small. That’s not what I call protecting the community. Not when I go down most any road and find a meth lab or a pill dealer. It’s a disgrace to these hills I grew up in. We talk slow and we’re a little standoffish to strangers but we’re not the morons the northern papers would portray us as by any means. I’m educated, a 3 tour combat vet, and my family is well regarded in the community. It’s a shame what drug corporations have done to the poor in this area. Systematic incarceration of the poor into corporate run manufacturing facilities they call prisons.
What ever it takes to control the population, they’ll do it. I swear fentanyl was released on such a large scale to just kill off ppl.
Thanks for your service to our country! @kentuckylucky
We have a veterans corner topic if you ever want to pop in and say hello.
Keep your head down and everything is gonna be ok!
I feel very fortunate to be where I am right now though most of the time Massachusetts can have some very stupid laws.
If the feds would reschedule MJ it would send a great message to the states!
Amnesia Haze auto seeds were 9 for 10. Average height is 2 3/4" at 23 days from seed. Following pic is a top view of a median plant 2 1/2" tall. These are staying right together growth wise. The only shorty is a late breaker.
