Probably either because of localized heat because they’re way too close to the lights. Or, inconsistency with lights on, lights off, I don’t use a timer, so these girls are entirely subjugated to my entire lack of diurnal rhythm

You could raise the light now they don’t need the intensity anymore they are ripening now. Heat is your enemy at this point

All of this was poorly planned. The canopy is unwieldy - if I had planned the grow out properly I’d have seen much more consistent bud formation, I’m sure. But yeah, the limitations of the light itself is also showing. Buds are tight enough, all things considered. But this definitely is not the max potensh of these girls.

Amazon has timers for like $10, Lowe’s and others do to. I was a bit thrown by the white pistols at first, but like Darrel said, I see some foxtails . If trichs are to your taste, chop and you will be dry in time, but like Kap suggests, the burping is as important as the dry.

I appreciate that @Dman1969 ! And to be fair, the whole run was just intended to see whether the cross has some potential - got plenty more of these F1s - so next step will be to cross them again. Wish I had more space and gear to work with, but all of this is still quite illegal where I’m at
@Growdoc I have such bad experience with those very old school timer plugs (I’d use them for my turtles) that my ADHD brain has gotten wary of working with 'em - and my stubborn ahh just likes manually turning on and turning off. It clearly isn’t working very effectively though But yeah, time to upgrade.

I just got my connecting cable for running my lights with the E42 grow hub, I’ve had trouble with the cheaply timers too, spent more on the last ones and have been flawless for several years. I upgraded to the 220 volt timer and run my lights on 220, takes less amperage. We are headed to legality here by end of year they say, actually supposed to put it on the voting ballot for Nov, wish us luck, sure would be less stressful!

If they were to confiscate my stuff - or worse yet - would try to persecute me, I’d find it laughable. But yeah, it’s still a damn bummer knowing you’re taking some risks. In my case, I think they’re mostly just entitled to just commandeer all of my gear and kill my plants. Little legal repercussion unless it’d have been undeniable that I’ve been selling. But the uncertainty is a major PITA.

Funny thing - last year I had some proper trees in my backyard. Neighbours had some workers over working on their windowsills on the first floor, so obviously my beauts had not gone unnoticed. So I was sitting there working in my home office while they were playing THE dutch weed song, very loudly. I was chuckling while working on ILGM business, but at the same time was also like ‘guys, please, discretion’.

Crazy how much the laws and punishments vary by location. Here you got prison time, fines, and possibly but likely Federal house seizure.
