The 1st pick has the clearest pic of the tiny caterpillar.
Sorry to see that @alex37 I am getting bit hard now also.
I think everything else is cool. Just the bastard caterpillar caused 1 bud to rot. Hopefully my diligence paid off.
Mine is not caterpillars damn wet is bad here.
Mine were in my garage since monday came out until i went to work on tuesday. Brought them out today about to be a nice dry stretch after today.
Also disappointing
We all feel your pain
Well i ordered some Monterey bt. And should get here tomorrow. Caterpillars didnt scare me because i didnt know they attacked the flower. Also going to hit with some peroxide solution tomorrow for the mildew
Dr Zymes for rot and PWM in my cabinet.
Ill order some dr zymes tomorrow. Right now im at work stressing about bud worms. Wtf. I cant wait until i chop these plants. I learned some things this year
Hehehe yep and you will learn more next yr, school is never out with weed growing.
@alex37 sorry about ur bud rot/caterpillars. I used silica this year, I had a lot of worms but hardly any damage. I think silica really helped, I gave it clear up until flush. I will be getting some Dr Zymes for sure. I still have all my outdoor plants in my shed with fans.
Will be harvesting this one from indoor run, Maui Wowie
Then chopped this one from indoor run as well, Runtz. Sorry pic upside down but she is hanging.
Could you explain to me how to use silica? Im a novice. Is it topical?
Silica is something that you add you your nutrients…usually the first ingredient so that it binds with the water. The plant uptakes it as it drinks. I use from seedling to right before harvest. Growing in soil reduces the need (but some still use) because it is present in soil.
Could be bugs or mechanical damage. Sometimes bud rot starts down there.
I had a couple spots of bud rot on my Sweet Tartz last night. I cut it out and sprayed the whole plant with a peroxice solution. The trichomes were all cloudy…but I was going to wait for some amber…instead I drug her in the house and harvested her this morning.
Gave all the buds a good bud wash and have them hanging for a day before I wet trim them and start the dry / cure
Beautiful
