I think everything else is cool. Just the bastard caterpillar caused 1 bud to rot. Hopefully my diligence paid off.

@alex37 sorry about ur bud rot/caterpillars. I used silica this year, I had a lot of worms but hardly any damage. I think silica really helped, I gave it clear up until flush. I will be getting some Dr Zymes for sure. I still have all my outdoor plants in my shed with fans.

Will be harvesting this one from indoor run, Maui Wowie

Then chopped this one from indoor run as well, Runtz. Sorry pic upside down but she is hanging.

Could you explain to me how to use silica? Im a novice. Is it topical?

Amyone know what causes this? I think bugs. Damage to the stem

Silica is something that you add you your nutrients…usually the first ingredient so that it binds with the water. The plant uptakes it as it drinks. I use from seedling to right before harvest. Growing in soil reduces the need (but some still use) because it is present in soil.

Could be bugs or mechanical damage. Sometimes bud rot starts down there.

I had a couple spots of bud rot on my Sweet Tartz last night. I cut it out and sprayed the whole plant with a peroxice solution. The trichomes were all cloudy…but I was going to wait for some amber…instead I drug her in the house and harvested her this morning.

Gave all the buds a good bud wash and have them hanging for a day before I wet trim them and start the dry / cure
