Update 3/12 UPDATE
We are now 3 weeks through flowering and I’m so proud of my little plants and grateful for the harvest they will provide me with - it’s such a great feeling to understand that this is the work of my care, the guidance given so generously by this community and the amazing seeds cultivated by @RobertBergman and ILGM 
Big Girl is feeling so much better after giving me a scare a few days ago. She perked right up after her flush.
Today both girls had 1/2 strength flowering food, Big Girl 2 quarts and Little Girl 1 Quart.
pH DI H2O + nutes 5 in, runoff 6.5 both girls. I don’t have a TDM meter yet, but this distilled water is supposed to be really low. I’m adding one to my shopping list, along with a magnification aid. 
I carefully thinned some leaves (lower from Big Girl. Lo and behold so many budlets everywhere.
Some photos of Big Girl today, she is 19" tall and 18.5" wide. A little burn on her tips of her most mature leaves, probably from the terrible soil they were first growing in.
Some pics of Little Girl, no lady scaping for her today, just letting her do her thing, she’s a shortie and very leafy dark green, probably due to her rough start and getting fed as much as Big Girl in the beginning. She is covered with buds and budlets, I’m hopeful they will both provide me with a nice harvest in about 3-5 weeks!

90 days from seed, approx 33 days flowering.
Flushed today after run off came out 5.5. 1 gallon pH 6.5 distilled spring water, run off post flush 6.5. Maybe going a little crazy on the bud juice 
I can’t wait to smoke this 
. Got a neighbor buddy signed on to help with the harvesting, and he is setting up a small grow room too in a few weeks so plenty of seed and clone sharing and watering help - win win!

Little widow never got any taller than 11.5" but she has a lot of buds. Love this little plant 
Some things I noticed since last 3 days - some leave tips turning yellow but staying hard on the surface, is this what it looks like when nutrients start pulling in? Or a deficiency? And if so, is this something that can be turned around or helped along now at this late phase? Thanks for any insights
93 days from seed
Larger widow got burned by the lights. 
Because of the hieght difference in the two plants and I think I had them too close together so larger Girl was under some of the smaller girl’s lower light. She is also very dry today and is starting to look tired ?
Moved the widows to the ends and the GL in the middle. Having some condensation in the tent so concerned about introducing any mold. Have to rethink my space going forward.

Now somewhere between week 6-7 of flowering. Bud swell seems to be at a static point the past 4 days, reddish pistil cover is 40-50% for big Girl, 20% for little Girl. Pistil reddening increasing daily now.
Near as I can tell trichromes are all milky, no sign of amber yet.
Flushed yesterday with 1 gallon each, run off a bit acidic, which is new, has been 6.5 steady now under 6. Not sure what that means but def a change taking place, maybe no more nutrient uptake and excess nutes coming out?
Looking more sugary again today after a few days of sugar fading.
Pics taken yesterday, lots more red pistils today. Changing fast now.

@bob31 @kabongster @willd. Thanks Guys! This whole project has been SO worthwhile and got me through the cold, dark days of winter!
Well, I made the decision to harvest the Widows this weekend! Probably give them the chop on Saturday evening and then spend Sunday organizing for drying.
Hubby and I sampled the goods and they are exceeding our expectations and truly reminding us that long summer days are just around the corner 
I pulled the girls to darkness this morning. Tonight I realized I didn’t have any final pics of them for this journal.
These girls have taught me so much, I’ll never forget these first two plants I grew

they are gorgeous.
hairs aren’t the best judge of maturity but there are lots of what look like healthy white pistils, the trichomes are mostly cloudy?
there could still be some plumping up of the buds, another week or two, you decide.
it’s easy for me to say another week, I dunno your situation.

Couple things I learned - my little girl, she opens like origami and has so many flowers that didn’t mature due to lack of light and maybe even just the insulation of her very thick and tight foliage and branches, I opened her up and she was all fluffy yellow pistils and tiny immature leaves, I don’t think they will amount to much and perhaps had I pruned her “petticoats” she would have put that energy to higher larger buds. Will be working with photoperiods from this point forward and will keep lower branches cleaner for circulation etc.
I’d let these girl go another week or so if I didn’t have nearly 2 foot tall Gold leafs to put to flower, limited space, and not appropriate air handling to serve all four well currently - cutting losses and moving ahead, the smoke is outstanding !

Have to agree in these pics you can’t really see amber trics at all. Only the view through a loupe or HD supermacro pic would reveal enough detail.

Trichs are all cloudy now, keep hoping to see some amber but none as of yesterday. I’ll time my next WW appropriately so I can let her grow till she is done
It took me awhile to get comfortable holding off on harvesting…that patience crap only goes so far, especially paired with no experience…I started out happy with pistils…waiting for amber trichs took a few grows.

Either way it’s certainly isn’t going to suck by even the most far fetched definition.
Props to you on your first grow. Super duper results.
Because of the number of plants I’m able to cultivate outdoors I try to take them at all different stages of tric maturity here and try to keep the less amber stuff separate from the more amber stuff just for fun
