Thanks @Q19Z6TC1 ! I’m trying for sure and happy to be at this stage on my first grows. Y’all are definitely plant saviors and taught me a lot, now to put it all to practice. Next grow will be even better.

With auto flowers there is a long period where you don’t really see much action going on. And yes it’s totally normal.

Autoflowers after the first few weeks of flowering stage it’s basically an autopilot plant all the way through to harvest. You feed it the proper amount of the proper nutrients and leave it alone.

Double check the environment especially during the summer to maintain the tent properly and that’s all it really is. They can be very slow with production. Patience is the number one key to autoflowers.

@Lostgirl today is day 5 what do you think?

Looks kind of dry what do you think?

I think the same it is crispy on the out side and soft in the middle. I am going to trim and jar em up. Just could not get that temp down to 60. RH was near perfect at 60-61. Is what it is. It stills smells like fresh pineapples. :yum:I will post a sample report in another weeks once I have burped em out and are ready for grove bag.

This has been an excellent thread from start to finish. @Q19Z6TC1 my compliments to you for being an excellent student. You asked great questions and you absorbed expert advice like a sponge.

@Lostgirl I can’t say enough regarding what I am learning about the grow process from you. I haven’t started growing yet because I have a broken hand and it would be difficult to take delivery of a 150 lb pallet with the tent / equipment so I am spending this time educating myself as much as possible.

Hope you recover soon. I think it’s great that you’re utilizing your time reading the forms and absorbing the information.

Preparation of educating yourself before jumping in is highly recommended and commended in my opinion. Way too many people jump in having a little to no knowledge of what they’re doing. It’s a waste of their time and money.

I appreciate the kind words. @Q19Z6TC1 has been a pleasure to assist from the beginning.

Speedy recovery and good luck to you my friend

Smoke report-
Buds are ready to go in the grove bag for a long hibernation.

Aroma-fruity, like pineapple’s, and green grapes. (Not as pungent as I would have liked. But I know now what to do next time, and have reconfigured my dry/cure room)

Taste- very smooth, on the inhale and tasty on the exhale. Clean

Effects- Straight to the dome, just a few hits. Head, neck and chest. Uplifting and entertaining, giggly, and smooth.

More than likely I will be processing most of this grow. I do prefer to ingest my cannabis, on most occasions. Although if it is that icky, sticky, dang, skunk bud I prefer to smoke and taste.

I can not say thank you enough @Lostgirl for helping a brother out. Your knowledge is valuable but our time is precious. Thank you so much for giving me the time to share your knowledge with me. Although the batch did not come out as hoped. The experience is where it is at for me. I am going to continue to read a prepare for the next session and will be back soon. If there is a way to promote you on this forum please show me where to vote and You got my vote. I am going to keep track on your new grow super excited to see how the Hawaii Gold looks and taste!! Thank you again to you and everyone that has helped. If is alright with you I would like to tag you @Lostgirl in on my next entry. Oh and for all those that read this from start to finish. Here is my advice. Get a notebook, and start reading and taking lots of notes. If you are not running an experiment on a grow than do not start doing anything out of the normal to your plants and do not do anything to it if you are not 100% sure of the cause and effect that it may have on the plant. And when I’m in doubt I reach out and grab an adult to help! That is supposed to be a joke, I am an adult and I still need help…:laughing: Happy Grow Every One!! :seedling:

I meant to say topped @Lostgirl sorry if that sounded rude. I’m not real good at checking what I write. Sometimes I re read things I type. And wonder myself what the hell I even wrote. So I think. I bet they can’t either.

I Know what you mean. My talk to text keyboard doesn’t understand my language. No I’ve never topped the plant before.

One question how often should I calibrate my ph pen. And how do I get my rain water to be the right ph if I just giving water. My last grow. When I dumped soil out. There was a huge block of salt it looked like in there. I didn’t calibrate my pen the first time I think I was getting a lot false reads.

I calibrate my pen at the beginning of every grow.

If you’re not adding anything to the rainwater like additives or nutrients you simply just water without ph’ing water

The rainwater will take on the pH of the soil itself. So there’s never any need to ph up or down the water. (Unless you’re adding nutrients)

If using rainwater (the best options) and watering to run off you shouldn’t have that much salt build up in your soil.

Using salty synthetics like Fox farm trio can be a contributing factor especially if you don’t run off your feeds

Well I was running extremely high ppm almost the whole time. Poor girl was stressed the whole time I guess. I got 6 going right now and they are extremely high ppm and I haven’t gave them notjing yet. I’m starting to think I shouldn’t be using fox farm. For my seedlings. But last grow I was doing mr rob mutes and swapped to fox trio. I looked in this mourning before lights go off and there bushy but they don’t look comfortable or happy.
