All the white hairs all over all the buds and the lack of cloudyness on the Trichomes on the actual bud part where the hairs are seen also. I can ss and circle what I am looking at if you want me to. I’m just sitting here smoking relaxing :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: lol

This is what I am looking at, and what I was taught is when them white hairs most of them start turning the orangish reddish color then check trichromes for cloudy to around 30%amber.

The circled buds were just to illuminate what I was talking about.

And they should be receding back into the buds. If they still stand straight out you got more time before even looking at trich’s

What I have just learned with a couple of mine is the red pistils, when they recede, you’ll see the bract close itself back around them. It will get a pine cone appearance.

These have just closed.

I am seeing a good bit of dark amber in the last pics though. I have a Skywalker OG that has dark trichs but the bracts are still open. Im trying to determine when to chop. Ultimately I am thinking the trichrome would be superlative to the pistils since its state predicts type of buzz. That plant is beautiful!
