Nice looking plant @Brett_420.fatbuds That’s one fat ass bud. I predict you have a couple more weeks to go. Still too many white hairs. Me personally, I wouldn’t even be worrying about trichomes yet with that many white hairs. I wait until nearly all the white hairs have turned brown and receded first.

@plumbdand I was thinking the same, I definitely know it’s not ready but love guidance , one day I’ll be confident enough to not even ask people  in the past i get impatient but not this time . Thanks :folded_hands:

Do you have a microscope or magnifier of some kind to look at trichomes.

Those were taken 5 days before I harvested. It could’ve gone a little longer or it could’ve been harvested sooner. I usually go for more amber but Im getting ready to start an indoor grow. I use my tent to dry my weed. I have to wait about another week before I can get that started.

You definitely have more time to go,imo.

Some won’t admit it,but in my humble but accurate opinion everyone has chopped to early.Me included. Barring any issues running a plant to your preference is all that matters. After all the work to get to the harvest window and chopping early OMG what did I just do! I learned this lesson the hard way.I haven’t chopped early in nearly 45 yrs.

All the advice a grower can get in forums ,you tube and other resources.,were not around back in the day.Todays first time growers have a great wealth of intel available to them.

You’re in the best place for intel about growing. There so many extremely well seasoned (both indoor and outdoor ) growers here willing to help from there first hand experiences.

Oh by the way your plant looks amazing.Good job.:+1:

Now nine and a half weeks from flipping it , still has a few white hairs but trichomes are getter more milky. Buds feel very solid and sticky

Take her to 12. First 2 weeks dont count. I love growing that strain. I would suggest run her long and stop a day count. Pure pistil/trich watch now. You are in the ready when she is finished frame. She is showing some color. She has more life to live. Just my thoughts. A strong night temp drop will fire up her color and produce a bit more trichs as protection.

I agree she has a lot of life left in her. All those white hairs need to turn brown and recede. She looks about week 7ish which sounds about right if you flipped the lights 9 and a half weeks ago.

@plumbdand in the last five days the leaves have become yellow and I’ll pulled a few off here’s some pics

Leaves turning yellow is normal at this stage the plant is using up all its stored nutrients.

It’s been 4 weeks since my first post do you think it looks ready ? Everyday now the white hairs are darkened more and not sticking up @plumbdand

@plumbdand yes I’ve got a little one , the leaves have amber but I’m pretty sure the buds are just milky , it’s hard to see though when I try and look in the middle of the bud , Im on no rush to pick it but just want to get it right , it’s changed rapidly in the last 4 days
