Cool. Have a little desk fan I’ll throw in there and have to go by Walmart I’ll look at temp and humidity monitors. So I dry until stem snaps and bud feels dry? 4-7 days?

(That’s kind of sad pic  ) I wanted to mention that a northern light I recently finished had almost no smell

After a couple weeks or so in the jar I’m just starting to notice it take on earthy / nutty? Scent just now, before that it had nothing

I took something else recently that smells like mowed lawn (I’m hoping that changes) :frowning:

What’s sad? Lol. That teeny bud? I was screwing around bending branch for more light and broke it Never trimmed before so gave it a test haircut.

You’re kidding right? That’s not the whole harvest ?

I saw temp / humidity gauge at Walmart for 8 bucks. I bought a fan there recently but it sucked, I use a 9 inch high velocity fan in my drying area

I’m really hoping that my drying isn’t going to stink up the place. My significant other already isn’t the biggest fan of my latest gardening efforts.:disappointed:

Dry in grow tent. Unless u going back to back. I was gonna dry in there but gonna start next one. Ain’t trying to screw with cold weather.

Grow tent is not an option. I’m an outdoor grower and have exactly zero unused space inside my house.

I can really see why they bring in trimmers lol. It sucks. I’ve never done it and it lost its fun by end of that tiny bud. :joy:

Trimmed 4 plants Sunday

I have arthritis and a couple other things going on (getting old) so you can’t really judge by me but it took me over 7 hours !

I recently used a fabric herb drying rack…I needed something portable that took up a small area, stuff was happening around the house just in time for my harvest.

The buds dried nicely, but, they did stick to the mesh, lost trichomes.

A week later, I hung the next plant to dry, branch by branch…no losses

Here’s a link to something called the spin trimmer, it looks pretty interesting

…it remind me of a salad spinner with razor blades in it LOL

I watched a few youtube reviews on those, about 6 months ago…they were pretty negative…the machines are salad spinners, roughly knocking and cutting leaves and trichomes off…after all you do to maintain solid, sticky buds through the grow and harvest.

Craziness. I hope that at the very least it collects all the trichomes that it knocks off in the process.

Old but not obsolete. Lol. saw terminator genysis this morning. I hear ya though. Bad hands run in my family. Need to finish that movie. Pretty good

Just got my trim scissors and where have these been all my life lol awesome
