I harvested the last plant 6/62025 It was the biggest of the 3 when I nearly killed it back in February. It recovered after flushing it with over 20gals of water. Once it recovered it went on to being the biggest of the 3 again.
I got a little over 7oz’s off the 1st plant a little over 10oz’s off the 2nd plant plus a couple oz’s worth still drying. The 3rd and the biggest is drying. Based on what I got from the first 2 plants I guessing the 3rd plant will give me close to a pound.
So far all my Northern lights that Ive smoked has been fire and tasted great without being cured yet. I put all 3 plants outside after harvest to reveg ones in the ground and two are staying on their self watering bases.
All in all it was a great learning experience growing Indoors for the first time.

I harvested my single plant on May 5th! 
harvest wet weight 2lbs 0.4oz!
Grower Comments this grow started off weird, where i started the plant under 12/12 light, and it showed sign of sex really early. So it went back to reveg, and looked like a branchy mess. I was so confused with the wrid growth, but i continued on with the grow and it started taking shape and looking great! The braches formed long colas and the buds stacked so evenly i couldnt have asked for better stacking! They turned into amazing shaped and feeling buds!
Smoke report this is still sticky as hell, and has been setting in 64°F/ 64%RH since around may 15th. Grinding it up releases that banana boat sunscreen, nitrocellulose lacquor smell. The taste has a fruity thing upfront that kind of turns into a rubbery/gas kind of taste. Its actually really nice, even though rubbery taste doesn’t sound appetizing 
I would definitely grow this again! And i like the idea of regs too!

I grew 3 Northern lights. They were harvested a week or so apart from the end of May beginning of June.
I ended up with just under 30oz’s total. The last one harvested is fire. Tastes great and great buzz.
It will be my go to until I harvest my outside plants in October/November. I took 6 clones gave 2 to my neighbor and one to a friend. I kept 3
This was my first indoor grow I used Ac infinity self watering bases with 2 air pumps and 4 airstones per base. I fed them every day with a ec of 2.0-2.1 and sometimes higher. I ph’d to 6.1 they took everything I gave them.
Lights were 2 Hlg 600rspec
Nutrients used
Earth juice seablast grow and bloom and bloom master. Jacks 321 and 4/2 on just one plant up until mid flower then added bloom master to the Jacks. I believe that gave me the best results. I learned so much more than I expected. I attempted to reveg 2 plant and had a monster crop that finally bought the farm. Im gonna try monster cropping some buds from the clones and run them through the winter. Thank you @dbrn32 for putting up with my crap. Thank you @Olaf.ILGM for gifting me the seeds. Thank you everyone who participated in the NL5BX grow off I learned something from all of you.

1 ounce, she had a rough start but we survived til the end, I enjoyed the smoke hits hard but not hard enough to knock you off your feet, it was a functional high lol, first reg grow can’t complain, another notch on my growing belt, would love to give it another go with the knowledge I have now with this strain.
I used Happy Frog for the medium and Vivosun Part A and B for the nutrients
To my knowledge I believe I let her run to the 9 week before chop

Harvested one plant because it was getting overgrown..
Still got 3.5 oz’s of good bud off her..
Finally, I had harvested another one about a week ago, and im still trimming it now…
Will be about 8 oz’s or a little more when all done…
I had to run out and grab some pics of the only one that’s still growing…
I really need to harvest her. I will be doing it tonight…
I don’t have any help , so im struggling to get everything chopped and trimmed…
I still have a few other plants that need to be harvested as well…
Im sure that i will have gotten way more than 16 oz’s off of these 3 girls when all’s said and done…

I dropped 6 seeds, 5 were female. I grew 3 of those and gave 2 to Fieldofdreams (I heard mites ended them ). From the 3 plants, I got 6 clones. I harvested 9 plants, 3 small clones went to freezer for a bubble run. The other 6 I got 22 oz from a bit of larf and tons of kief. I flipped the clones pretty quick so they averaged less than the seeded plants.
It is my favorite of the strains I have grown to smoke. The taste and smell is great (not good at taste description). The veg state was a bit tough, but once flipped to flower they took off. I loved the grow off, learn lots of tips with all the different styles. Thanks @Olaf.ILGM and @dbrn32

Well, that was a fun grow! Thanks @dbrn32 , @AfgVet, @Olaf.ILGM and everyone associated with it!
I dropped 4 seeds and 2 made it to harvest. I used a lot of supercropping and Green Rush Nutrients, all in regular Pro-Mix HP.
At first the planties reacted really well to the training, even if it was one of the more “fragile” to high stress training cultivar I have grown yet. Meaning, the stem and branches were a bit “woody” which made them crack open more often than usual. Otherwise they did really well.
Here they were at the end of the veg, just before I really send them flowering:
Once ready, I initiated flowering under a new light schedule (for me) 13 on /11 off until about two weeks after the stretch was over. Then I went down to 12/12 until harvest.
That gave me some of the biggest and tightest indoor buds I have ever grown. Here they are just before harvest:
I got two full CVaults full of tasty, resinous buds. I don’t weight anything anymore, but I’d say I had at least 7 ounces worth.
Smoke report:
Very smooth on the intake with hints of pîne and earth on the palate. Exhale gives off a “woody” aftertaste, in a pleasant kind of way.
Buzz is very nice, starts right behind the eyes and fills the brain for a while before descending in the body. A nice daytime strain with a relaxing end of buzz, imo.

Northern Lights 5 BX: Grow Summary & Smoke Report
This Autopot coco/perlite grow followed two Northern Lights 5 BX females from January to early May 2025. Despite a slow droopy veg, being over fed, heavily pollinated and subsequent root issues, both plants resiliently delivered a combined 432 grams (223g and 209g) of potent, albeit seeded, material. Aside from those hurdles, it was a relatively easy grow that taught me valuable lessons like droopy leaf integral , once the DLI was lowered to her liking she perked right up. She proudly put on one of the most colorful displays I’ve ever witnessed firsthand; pictures truly couldn’t capture all the nuance of her beauty.

Northern Lights Out Edition
This is a man’s weed! Ain’t no dainty perfume counter stink, ain’t no aunties potpourri collection aroma therapy crap no’sir dis rite’cher is a manly smell. It’s a rouge pine tree smacking ya mug with a bag of lemons soaked in napalm and damnit you’ll like it or get another whack. Yea it’s manly, so she’ll like it too.
Take the first toke and the timer starts. It’s flavor is true to what the aroma told ya, it says what it means and means what it says. You got bout 30 minutes ta geter’dun before the other shoe drops. Now would be the time to forage for snacks and put the remote on a short leash cause soon your eyes will start to droop like she did during veg, yep it’s where your quickly headed…a droopy vegative state. Cuddle up with this gurl to Netflix & chill and youll be checking your eyelids for leaks before the opening credits are done, oh you’ll push and peek through the fog occasionally but it’s inevitable. You’ll struggle valiantly as she beckons to you, a siren coaxing you to run ashore to the comfort of the couch. Not to fret none tho as you’ll awake refreshed and ready to challenge this Legend to a rematch, yea you go’head.

1st things 1st I want to Thank you very much for this opportunity to grow a dandy plant. @Olaf.ILGM @dbrn32 and anyone I’m missing.
Started off pretty slow, but most of my seedlings start slow. The buds are definitely large and dense. As for the taste, I haven’t started smoking it YET. Nice long cure. Actually I don’t smoke ALOT, still working on a few others.
This grow had me battling a severe investigation of spider mites, which led to an aggressive bud wash. I finished the 3 girls with 12.5 ounces of solid buds. Due to the bug issues I didn’t keep the smaller less dense fruit from the undercarriage.
This is my wife’s favorite of all the strains I’ve grown. It smells LOUD. It tastes incredible. Tangy and sweet with a warm mouth feel, almost like a swisher sweet. This is a strain we’re careful with. I’m finding you can get in over your head quickly, but to my surprise, even going to hard, it doesn’t cause me any anxiety.
These girls took some fair stress, some fair neglect, and stood their own against some hard pest abuse.
I’m very excited for the next chance to run these girls and do them justice!
