So with the rule set by @MacGyverStoner that is between 25 and 35 watts per square feet for LED light , and with your desire to cover almost all the area (keep in mind that you will need some room for circulate) an honnest bet is to have 10×600 watts or 6×1000 watts, it depend on how much plant you gone a have and how much area you gone a have to really covert.

Hope that you’ll find this helpful :innocent: :v: @energyjudo

New knowledge is always fun to acquired :innocent::+1::v: @Countryboyjvd1971

Before you buy Chinese leds you should watch this. They are usually not what they represent. I got two 800 w King leds and they were not quite as good as a Mars 300 for twice the price.

Please @Stomper do not propagate false information, mars hydro LED lights are made and assemble in China too  It’s true that they are differences in chips some are cree some are epistar some are single chips other are double that’s made the difference between them. Some as better composant and with higher standard assemble rules . Mars hydro and King led plus are two of the most higher review for your bucks LED lights

Do not take this bad, i’m just trying to give accurate informations here :innocent::v:

Thanks @Stomper for posting the video
Yes you should do your home work before purchasing
With all purchases
And know what your looking for in respect to performance
Look at all available info .
That said I’ll bet almost all led lights at least in parts start in China with a few exceptions

Having purchased two of the 800 w King Plus before I found out I could have gotten 4 Mars Hydro 300s which perform better for less money, I thought I might save some folks several hundred dollars. I offer the video as reference, folks can make up their own minds. Never said Mars wasn’t made in China. Probably should have said “before you buy any King Plus product” to be more fair.

For sure bro I use galaxy hydro myself and they are inexpensive light that work great less then 100 ea think most under 90$:+1::v:

The video was made by mars hydro, King led plus is a direct competitor so the neutrality of the video is questionnable. @Countryboyjvd1971

However I do not have the chance as you personnaly had to make an honnest side by side comparaison like you have @Stomper If you had a bad experience with King plus led, i’m really sorry to ear that, for my personnal experience’s with it, i’m really satisfy :grinning::innocent:

I do recommand mars hydro LED lights as I do recommand King led plus LED lights I have made an informed choice by research highest review by LED guru like this site

I hope that I not offend you by any mean :v:

Truth is @Stomper @Niala
We all like what we use
I’m looking into more cob style led since I bought a few of them 400 watts they are working out great :+1: 200 actual draw
I’ll be buying more and since I’ve had good results I’ll use the same company
I’m not really here to push one brand over the other
I only give my honest opinion on the lights I use
I have 6 lights total and if I ran them all together I would have 1000 actual watts available so I’m good  lol and again less than 100 ea except for the 2 cob style @147 ea.
@Niala the cob light brand is roleadro same co as galaxy hydro if you wondering and yeah his light is nice I was looking bat it also :+1:
