Here’s pictures of the big plant, there is one spot on this plant where a couple leaves seem like they are vanishing away LOL they are turning a silver color and looks like it is disappearing as it is turning silver. I am wondering what is the cause of this? My runoff pH was a little low, is that what causes this? I have been noticing this throughout the whole time of having this plant and it seems to only be in one spot.
And last but not least here is the 18/6 closet. With the green gelato Auto and Cherry cola Auto number 2
I have a light question, I have two 1200 watt wakyme LED lights and I was reading on the site that one of them is equal to a 900 watt HPS. I’m sure this is very farfetched, I know the LED pulls 218 Watts from the wall, I have them pretty close to my plants, not noticing any problems but probably as close as three or four inches in some spots but what I’m wondering is what what HPS light would this be equivalent to? I also have a 250 HPS in between the LEDs and the 250 is about 6 in away so I’m really wondering if this led is better than my HPS and really should be further away? @dbrn32
Yeah when I read the specs on it it said it was equivalent to a 900 watt HPS. What is the real watt HPS you would say it equals?
Its probably in the neighbors of your 250 watt hps in terms of actual light output.
You may want to run it a little higher because al of the light from led panel is focused at canopy and half of the light from an hid bulb needs to be reflected. And it probably won’t provide as much node spacing as hps due to the difference in light spectrum.
@dbrn32 what are you saying, you’re saying to have the LED higher than the HPS? Are you saying the LED is stronger than the HPS?
I would probably run these about 12" or so from canopy. Maybe a little higher if plants aren’t hardened to it.
@dbrn32 oh wow, I wonder if I messed growth up LOL I’ve been having these around 8 in from the top of the canopy or even lower in some spots for the whole grow LOL
If your plants look good i wouldn’t worry about it. Intensity is really only half of the thought too. The higher your light is the greater area it will cover. The goal should be to find a happy medium between Intensity and coverage.
What is the chances that I went outside this morning on my side porch and happened to glance up into my neighbor’s window and seen what appears to be a Christmas tree right next to the window soaking up all of the Sun. I live in a non legal state which makes this hard to believe that my eyes are not deceiving me. What is the chances LOL could they maybe a real Christmas tree and not marijuana LOL
So I snuck and tried to snap a picture through my neighbor’s window to get a better view of what appears to be there Christmas tree. I’m going to try to take a better picture later but wondering thoughts on this
@OldNailPounder @kaptain3d @Fieldofdreams @OGIncognito
You peeping Tom , hard to tell but could have a grow buddy next door
@kaptain3d yeah but that’s not the kitchen, that is some back room of the house, seems like a secret room. But when I’m looking through the window I can see one of those car sunblockers hanging by the window and the plant and also I think I could see a tent of pink LED
That’s what I’m saying OG, trying to figure out some bait to throw out there
Ask him if he has any rolling papers?
For your “cigarettes” obviously…
Excellent idea
Here is some pictures I caught as soon as the lights went out, strawberry gorilla auto, Cherry cola auto, cookie salata Auto, and mother clone from last harvest
