New member here from Scandinavia, sharing the love with 4 strains from FastBuds

Oh I understand now. You could try pulling the stands closer to each other if they will or you could turn up the lights a very little bit. But truthfully I don’t see a problem she looks happy. And your gonna want a lil stretch in them for your netting process. Just my thoughts.

Just a little update, not it’s been 3 days since the last watering and pot still weighs 3,6kg. Top soil feels dry though, stuck my finger in an inch or so.

Maybe wait a little bit more for the next watering? I also read that some people let the plants droop a bit before giving water, is it a good procedure?

Not familiar with your soil but if pots are light and top couple inches are dry its safe to water.

@Highgrow Weight was 3,2kgs before last watering so there is still 400g’s of water in them. Is there any significance to what time I water them? Before or after the dark period?

Yaiks! I went to check the babies and noticed the Leomon Cherry Cookies having a bit of downward curling on the newer leaves. What could cause this and should i do something?

Are you accounting for potential weight on the plant itself? 400grams of water is slightly over 14ounces which doesnt seem like a lot to me. Could easily be the weight of the plant

I think ull get a variety of answers on this one. I personally water a couple hours b4 lights out or on. I judge off weight and if theres any drooping. Sometimes if i cant tell ill stick my finger down a couple inches in multiple spots to get a little idea of the moisture lvl. HOWEVER… you should water as needed despite the times IMO.

Approximately how much water was given when you watered 3days ago? Also important to water in a ring around your plant and away from the stem.

This could be a few different things but It looks ok to me. Not significant enough to be a concern imo. Normally clawing is caused by overwatering, heat/light stress and in some cases having to much nitrogen.

Sorry for late respone. I normally get a notification when people tag me, not sure why i didnt this time :upside_down_face:

@Highgrow Thank you for your reply, and definitely no need for any sort of apologies…!

Last watering was 3 days ago, and the weight taken before that was the dryish weight with the plant. I gave 0,6 liters of water then. But that was the first time I watered so much, the previous watering was 200ml so the bottom part of the soil must have been bone dry…

I just went in and gave then 0,75l of water each. And yes I always water in a circle, never directly on the stem.

I see growth, not vertically anymore but the stalks have been sturdying up nicely, and the leaves getting bigger.

All in all I think the girls are happy and growing normally. I will snap some fotos maybe tomorrow just for a quick update…

And thanks again for your reply, every now and then one gets the need of a little reassurance!

@SausageMahoney @DanB @Truetopath @Reed71 @Growdoc @Highgrow Here are the girls on day 15(Apricot is on day 14 or 13).

The growth is more horizontal now after raising the PAR to about 350.

@SausageMahoney Yes my friend, I think I will bend them.

These strains are not supposed to be giants, but still I worry that my 3x3 will get crowded… they seem to be on good way now and might grow big.

Any suggestions on how to approach this? Bend the main stem once and let them go from there, maybe use the net to spread out the colas?

@Highgrow @SausageMahoney @Truetopath @SausageMahoney Last night I bent the girls, had to jiggle them a while to soften the stalks but everythink went well and I didn’t break the stalks.

This morning they already had turned torwards the light(just after the dark period).

I adjusted the stakes a bit and clipped off the one leaf from each plant, which were shdowing the lower nodes. I hope this was not too much stress for the girls, maybe I should’ve done that last night at the same time. Well it’s done now, hoping for the best.
