It does seem strange that just one leaf has died. It almost looks like it was damaged maybe by moving it? It doesn’t even look yellow. A few of mine have died from moving it. But it’s in the undergrowth and didn’t get much light anyways. Maybe someone else will have a better answer. @VelcroThumb
Possibly or maybe I got water on it and the light fried it
Usually those turn brown and spotty but still mostly green. I know I’ve done that. @VelcroThumb
It’s a little hard to see what’s up there
@VelcroThumb looks brown ?
I would remove it and watch new growth for signs of a issue
@Countryboyjvd1971 the pic isnt the greatest… the leaf isnt brown, it turned like a dark green and got smooth… like no veins
*it is on part of the plant that i wi eventually take off… its the first set of 3 fingered leaves on the plant so they will die anyways. I jist wasnt sure because it didn’t look like lack of water or anything like a deficiency
Is/was it touching the dirt? I’m not sure what the significance is, but it seems to be hard on leaves.
It may have at some point… the fan is blowing on it a slight bit
I would follow cb’s lead then, remove and monitor. Could be nothing to worry about
Ok did I ever tell you I was shade color bling hahah
Reall dark green leaves is a sign of nitrogen toxicity
You might want to consider a flush
What are you pmm and ph reading again
@VelcroThumb
Your girls look healthy I didn’t see pictures till after I posted above
I think @dbrn32 hit the nail on the head actually
I havent nuted them at all. Im using FFOF, so it may be what @dbrn32 said… ppm were around 850
Ph is always 6.4-6.8 range and i ph before… then if the water sits overnight, i ph again next time i use it since i have noticed the ph can change!
Ok yeah I think he was on point probably was under wet soil for a while before you saw it
Ppm may be a little low but if they aren’t complaining I wouldn’t go messing with anything
How old agian lol @VelcroThumb
I’ve read in a few places that the pH buffers can play some havoc on soil cultures, so I wouldn’t use more than necessary. It may be a good idea to wait until you are ready to feed before adjusting ph.
I use an organic nutrient line, and will actually mix my nutes 24 hours prior, and then use an air pump to bubble overnight. The ph drops from around 7.8 to around 7 just from this. I’m sure the air has an impact, but the time also probably has something to do with it. Maybe just something to keep in mind if your nute mixture will be sitting overnight.
I think your ladies are looking pretty good!
I use city water, which comes out of the tap at ph of 8! Someone on the forum mentioned I may want to let the water “breathe” for 24 hours before use so the chlorine will evaporate. So i keep a few gallons ready so theres no gap or overlap. All of the leaves on the other ladies look great… its just that one on the blueberry. I went ahead and cut it off just in case it was “infectious” lol. I felt like Brad Pitt in World War Z lol. Did some LSTing last night
…before
after
Absolutely! The biggest reason you let it sit is for the chlorine to evaporate. You can facilitate that by bubbling with an airstone if you’d like. Not that it’s necessary, but it will definitely speed up the process.
I have some fox farm trio that I use in pepper garden. Assuming it will behave similar to most synthetic nutes, I will see how pH reacts to being bubbled when I get a chance.
I think you’re doing great! No surprise really, you have some really good mentors.
I did not know that about the airstone! Im gonna try a little experiment in a day or so since i have an old stone that still works! This site and the people are amazing! Everyone is really interested and almost invested in everyone elses grow! It takes a village! I love that i can post a topic or pic regarding one issue, and then some wide eyed Sherlock discovers an issue that wast even mentioned and lets me know! Its kinda like an autobody shop; go in for oil change and they let you know issues they come across while looking at the vehicle!
My ph actually goes up when I airrate @dbrn32
Which sounds strange but it does
I still aierate but yeah up not down ??
Probably some differences in our nutrient solutions, you think @Countryboyjvd1971? Pretty wild none the less!
I use earth juice, have never tried outside of that as I stated earlier. Now I definitely want to see how the ff stuff reacts. I have canna aqua for hydro and the nectar samples, if I get time I will try it with all of them.
I have noticed that bubbling my tap water alone for a short period of time the ph will go up a few tenths of a point. My daughter won a beta fish, I bubble the tap water prior to changing and check for shits and giggles.
