that was kinda my plan for the first few grows,… just grow exclusively autos until I have enough good stash to last through a longer grow with hiccups.
I’m in the middle of taking down my big flower tent.
This will end up in about 20 sq. ft of more growing space?.
Ya the auto’s if they finish in 7 to 9 weeks. Be planting in soil. Every 2. 1/2. 3 weeks and keep harvesting back to back is the plain

I may use that plan… just do 2 or 3 plants at a time…was planning to germ new seeds right about the time the ones in the tent went to flower…that should have me harvesting about once a month right? Pretty sure two plants will produce more than I can smoke in a month, lol…
also considered,… since it is so hot and humid here… maybe just grow a few crops over the winter…and use the tent for vegetables in the summer… help the ol’lady see some return on the investment.
There ya go. Just two plants say a time back to back and you’ll wind up doing a harvest every two weeks.

Well I got the tent down. Couldn’t sleep again so I took her down and what an ordeal that was at 1:30 in the morning. I had to take 25 3 gal buckets full of soil outside and I could only do w with the cover of darkness couldn’t see a dam thing. Tripping on everything…lol

I tried HPS too much heat then I tried horticultural CFL and had some success now the LED. At the moment they look a lot better with more bud sites than the cfl I can control the heat and humidity better and I am happy so far, we will find out and it has cut the bills. I will post some pics later. I am going to try autos next. I would chose the LED. I am on the choco just now.

A 600w HPS will cover a 4x4 area. For that area I would suggest 4 Mars 300s. The results should be similar although LEDs produce more trichs. I have grown with both but still waiting on the results from my first HPS grow.

My next grow will be All Auto with the exception of five Gold Leaf.
So I’m in the middle of remodeling the room. Hung the 1000 watt HPS and will hang another later then all new ducking. Going to hang 4 air hoods. The kinda hoods you have above your stove in the kitchen. They will suck the hot air up into the aditic.
Four air fans will be sucking air from under the floorboards of the room should keep the heat in check.Sweeeeeeeet
I decided to go with the 10 gal black pots. More air to the roots.

I’m thinking of doing all autos this winter as well, starting new plants every couple weeks to try and get a perpetual harvest working. Could you share your soil recipe? You mentioned to me before you make your own.

It’s pretty easy.
1.). Pro Mix BX
2.). Nutrient free soil
3.) Bat Guno
4.). Worm Casting
Every time I water I use this…
I’ll cuff my hands and take 4 maybe 3 of the BX it don’t have to be pot mix but anything very similar.
Then I do the same with nutrient free soil
Then I adds good dusting of the gat guno ( use a whole lot at one time. )
The worm castings sprinkle two hands full then mix it then repeat.
So far after 6 weeks they look like this…

Thanks😊 I’ve two bags of fox farms I’m going to use up first, but after that gonna try mixing. Was going to start hydro, but I liked your idea of the autos every couple weeks to have a perpetual grow, and soil pots are just going to be easier to move around ad I want.

Have you tried any of the autos sold here besides the white widow and super skunk? The WWAs that I’m growing are superb plants. I’ve broken every rule I’ve read about autos, and they are really thriving. I want to try the super skunk, blueberry for sure, but not sure what others to try. Any advice or comments

got my lights up an moved the girls into there new room and turned on the two 1000 Watts HPS lights and wouldn’t you know one of the he blubs was out.
So I have to order two more bulbs Friday. One of them will be a backup bulb.
I’ll post pic’s later to night. I also topped them for there second time.
