Another 2 good budget brands for leds are Hollandstar and Dimigogo. I own more then one of each. The dimigogo 1k, is a 230 or a 250watt led , triple chip, ir and uv.
If u wanna go HID, I started years ago with a 250watt mh/hps and pulles many of fine harvest with it. Now days the digital ballast are dimable, so u can get a 400 or 600 and still run it at 250watts then when u get bigger u can go more watts, and the same ballast runs a mh bulb and a hps.The brand ipower makes an decent budget ballast, with a cooltube both bulbs and a way to hang it for under 150$ The majority of commercial growers use HID lighting. I personally use both, i use mh during veg switch to hps during flower amd have an led of both sides of it as side lighting.

That’s a helluva good deal on that light Familyman…thank you for thinking of me… I ended up buying the Meizhi 450 watt LED Reflector series that dbrn found for me. I did buy an IPower tent though 3x3x6’… hoping to use it soon… am in the seedling stage now right and these 2 little ones are wreaking havoc on me --oh geezers!!

You will be happy with that light! They are mid-upper level budget lights. Never heard any complaints , but never used my self.
