If you want a good light, great customer service, and a fair price I would start with horticulture lighting group. They have several options suitable for 4x4 or larger and may have some discounted pieces in their refurbished section.

I agree that is probably the top folks. Have used them before. Older models.
That being said, there are many less expensive makers pretty darn close to HLG in specs and output.
1 thing HLG has is warranty support. Longevity. Performance. CUSTOMER SERVICE.
If can afford the initial costs they are probably best bang for buck over a 5 year lights life. If budgeted there are some perfectly functional lights from other manufacturers at a lower price point.

I use and i know growdoc uses szhlux awesome lights and fairly priced on amazon. The 840w will fill the 4x4 perfectly!!

You’ve already been provided with some excellent options so I’m going a different direction. Stay away from the new Gorilla Xi series lights, their drivers are complete :poop:

They currently have a $30 coupon with it. Ever bit helps.

Be careful what vendor is selling on Amazon. I ordered my first HLG 350 from an Amazon vendor. The light and accessories were loosely packaged in previously opened box and it was inside another Amazon box with no cushioning. The Amazon box was damaged and half open. I didn’t even try it, I sent it back and ordered direct from HLG. Glad I did too, it was on sale and ended up spending less than the one from Amazon.

Kind or HLG would be my suggestion if you can afford the extra $$. Spider farmer has really stepped up their quality and still budget friendly. There’s also AC Infinity. I use all of the above with good results :love_you_gesture:

Man I wish you could still get Kind lights…they were bought but Gorilla, equipped with crappy drivers and the price nearly doubled.

I ordered a Kind X750 right when it was happening and they back ordered my light. After a couple months I received a GXi750 in the mail. They retail for $1450 but they gave it to me for the same price as the X750. Thought i got a deal but I’ve had to send it in for repair a couple times now and after paying for the shipping plus insurance I already have over $1450 in the piece of :poop: and it needs another repair :man_facepalming:t2:

I wasn’t aware of the change and appreciate the info, I’ve had my X420 for almost 5 years and my favorite light :love_you_gesture:

I think they’re gouging the average consumer for shipping these days. I bought 3 HLG Scorpion Diablos at an auction and boxed one up to send to a friend halfway across the country and they wanted $460 to ship it. For a little more, my buddy was better off getting a refurbished one from HLG. I guess I have to be a business to get any kind of discounted rate from today’s shipping companies.
