Naw I don’t fret over a leaf. The overall health is looking good.
I respectfully disagree. You taught me too well to not
Craft blend is Kelp meal, Camelina meal, fish meal, fish bone meal, Langbeinite, high P bran, alfalfa meal, BSF frass, soybean meal, malted barley, crustacean meal, basalt, gypsum and oyster flower.
I love and use build a flower top dress because it’s a free shipping item and was before they revamped there shipping process so it is and has been a way for me to stretch my own compost further. I can never have enough compost. BAF is a mix of 2 composts, Oly mountain is what 1 used to be and the second compost, that I cant remember for sure. But I think used to be BAS compost, thats what I have written down from a few years ago, but they change chit and don’t list which ones anymore, nor do they sell their compost anymore so my guess is Malibu and Oly Mt since thats what they carry. Anyway its 2 composts and I love quality compost, the more the merrier. BAF also has mustard seed meal and I haven’t had any fungus gnats since they started putting mustard seed meal the BAF. They should put it in their craft blend but they don’t.
The other stuff they put in BAF, which I have plenty of is biochar, kelp, gypsum, high P rice bran. It also had worm castings which I run low on sometimes so its appreciated.
So there are some same ingredients and some not.
I wonder why and when they quit putting karanja cake in the CB, I like Karanja cake.
Yep, and CB.
It always was Bu’s blend and Oly Mtn with EWC, per above. Biodynamic and Fish compost with EWC. All equals great compost. I use all.
They constantly change and have gotten away from their original company values of share all info. Glad you chimed in @GreenJewels
I agree. I preferred when they were a smaller company. Change is ok but I liked their website better a few years back when all ingredients and amounts were listed in their products. They still list stuff but not as well as before.
I’m happy my mind has cleared a bit since I’m feeling better. Hopefully I can continue to chime in more than I have. I love garden talk. I have health spurts, ya know how it is
I
Good sheeit man! Very nice
I’m definitely ordering some of that! $21 a bag!
Bro I got some really good organic coconut water. No sugars. I need to freeze it though in small bottles.
How much would you add to my well water per gallon?
Wetting agent right? I’m getting ready to transplant and that would be good for a soil soak before hand. Not too much.
Last transplant when great without it.
One more question
I have big plastic containers of living soil and have been adding water and bakashi for a couple weeks. Can I stir that up or just leave and use top layer only?
One container is FF
Other is BAS 3.0
Thanks as always, you and GJ
Not to my knowledge. Aloe has saponins though.
Coconut water from green coconuts is good stuff for increased plant growth. Its packed with aminos essential for plant growth, minerals, vitamins, micronutrients and micronutrients, like K, P and mag. One study showed that it increases calcium absorption. It also contains phytohormones like gibberellic acid - for the stretch by premoting cell elongation and division onset of flowers, also for seed germination. Cytokinin-for new shoots, roots, breaking seed dormancy, and flowers formation.
Great for seeds, seedlings, transplants ( root development, hell ya) and for flowering.
I would go with the amount @Budbrother recommends, he knows best. But my notes tell me a couple teaspoons per gallon if using for biweekly watering.
I hope that helps.
I just basically leave my bokashi on top but it is down further in my soil as I layer on top dressings of composts and ammendments sometimes I scratch ammendments in the very top layer with the compost so it doesn’t get crusty on top and then a fresh sprinkle of bokashi.
Soil wetting agent I use is Aloe Yucca or Quillaja. The aloe doesn’t work as a Surficant for foliars.
Fresh Cnut is used 1-2 tbs/gal
Jewels got you on the Bokashi
Lots of good info, thank you.
Ok, got it and thanks!
Hey man sorry it’s been a while just been busy and I like it I haven’t tried soil I’m gonna try soil the next one so we’re like switching and you really just have to keep the water level good so the roots stay in water because that was a mistake I made first starting and making sure the ppms are good because it’s quite easy to over do it with nutes in my experience and by no means I’m not an expert at all I’m still trying to get the hang of everything but I think you’ll like it and yea I would keep the ph around 5.8 5.9 but good luck to you man I hope everything works out and goes good
And I’ve never used clones yet but when I start and germinate it I usually do the paper towel method and then when there’s the tap root I put it in a wet cube of rockwool then place it in my bucket to start
What do you guys think of this here?
I just recently transplanted to 5 gallon. BAS 3.0
Added CB
They just
started flowering so I should’ve done it differently.
Greetings, brother.
Looks nice. Everyone does grows differently and I never say one way or the other works best, I just do what I do for success. I never up pot autos, I germinate my seed to a 1/2 tail and place it in my 5 gallon rain science air pots. I layer my Fox farm soils in a way that the germinated seed starts out in Happy Frog, and is circled with Ocean Forest, then the tap root reaches Strawberry fields. Happy Frog is good for seedlings. Thats what I do.
Your plant looks nice, I would have up potted after the leaves touched the out side edge of say a solo cup or what you wete using or third node, before flowering so as not to cause stunting or delay.
Take care looks nice.
Thanks, I appreciate the feedback!
Hey bro, I never seen this yet. What exactly is it? Some kind of bug eating the leaves?
Thanks for any info
I have some of this, will it solve the problem
Sorry I missed that post but good advice
They go straight into flower
Looks like it is a bit of excess, burns on them starting leaves. No major concern that I see. Tops/overall look healthy?
What do you think about those brown spots(last pics) spreading around, virus?
