Need help please. Is ChatGPT correct?

Is this male or felmale? I was previously told female but I ChatGPT is saying male.

I wouldn’t look at 2 lone calyxes as conclusive. Are the remainder of the calyxes at the nodes absent hairs (pistils)? How about a pic of the tips of the plant, please?

I’m new to all of this, I hope this helps.

I see pistils on calyxes in the most recent pics you’ve posted and you have pistils at the tips of the plant, indicating that the plant is genetically female. It is a hermie at the worst case. Keep an eye on it, but I wouldn’t worry too much about isolated pistils missing on a couple of calyxes. A bug could have clipped them off or airflow may have eroded them off.

She’s a bit of a weird specimen . To have so many trichomes and just starting to show . Auto ? Photo Period ? How old is she ? Lighting ? … nosy aint I .

Photo. They germinated on April 1. I screwed up though. I had them under light too long each day before transplanting outside. Loosing the few hours of light every day caused them to flower early. They are over 6 ft tall though so I’ll still get a little yield hopefully. .

Yeah AI to trouble shoot stuff is terrible. We just had another guy and Chat told him he had TMV which he didn’t. Just some typical variegation that we all see and know. If I have a question, this forum is the first and only stop on my route to answers.

I remember that discussion. I told the dude it was leaf variegation and it took a handful of others to come in and say the same thing before he would believe it. I’ve been here nearly 6 years and I don’t recall ever seeing a legit case of TMV.

It’s at it’s worst when newer growers read something from an AI and refuse to believe it could be any other thing that AI told them it was.

I have a younger neighbor that’s getting worse with that :-1:t2::green_heart::sign_of_the_horns:t2:

Us old folks don’t give a shit about AI. We have real world experience. These yungins just google everything and cannot think for themselves. I fear for our infrastructure over the course of the next 10-20 years. I won’t be here anymore but my kids will. I know 20 somethings that cannot swing a hammer or twist a wrench.

Google AI search and other AI search engines are still in their infancy and the AI is equivalent to a 5yo kid that is still learning how to kill us. Take AI results with a pinch of salt

When I was in school we had a shop teacher that for your final grade you had to build a small house. Now they call em tiny homes but we had to do it all. Framing, windows, exterior substrates, roofing, interior finishes etc… the only thing we did not have to do was plumbing and electrical.

I feel ya brother.

Be even more afraid. My Navy son says new recruits are going to get our navy sunk. They have ZERO mechanical abilities and are treating it like a 9-5 job. They think orders are suggestions to be followed at will. NOT all but enough to get them and their peers killed. We need parenting classes to be mandatory. Taught by BOOOOOMMMEERRRRS! Let our next generation have a chance.
