Need help out side grow in week 4 of flower

Just messing with you.

would help to have closer pics but it looks like light intensity to me

They were clones. I had 10 given to me. Didn’t have room for all so 4 went to the garden. The outdoor one’s went to flower in about 2 weeks.
The in side look completely different.

Hmmm. I’m really curious as of to I have 9 clones outdoors now in 83% humidity @ 72-84°. My clones are only 1-2 weeks old and I wonder will my location and light phase change my girls? Do you know for certain your clones are FEMS?

The 6 inside im sure of. I went to 12/12 about 3weeks thay look good. Still to crowded. But that I will deal with.

Say BigFella your reply could explain what happened. I see a lot of new lighter growth coming out. Your thoughts

Looks nice and frosty. Just keep any eye out for balls or nanners. Female flowers should have lots of white pistols. But you probably won’t see any male or female flowers develop until August if the plants are outside. If you do see male parts, you have several days to make sure before you kill the plant.

In the future, if you have to put plants out early in the spring, you can fool them into staying in veg state. Just shine a bright light on them for 15 minutes around 11 PM or midnight. Changing to flowering state takes 12 hours of continuous darkness, If you interrupt that process with a bit of light, it takes another 12 hours to go into flower state. The sun will rise before that happens.

When the trichomes start to turn amber is it time for harvest?

Yes, but that will probably not happen until September in the Northern hemisphere, for photoperiod plants. Different people look for different degrees of ā€œturning amberā€. Consensus averages about 20% amber. But they say ā€œmore of a head high/daytime smokeā€ for less amber, versus more of a ā€œcouch-lock high/nighttime smokeā€ for more amber. If you see 50% amber you’ve probably waited too long and should harvest immediately.

I have a problem with my inside grow. I have been battling spider mites . Been using neam oil. Color of leaf is not coming back. In week 7 of flower. Will the spiders if left to harvest take away the THC already in the plant. @peachfuzz @Covertgrower

7 weeks in flower…?
You might be able to get them to the finish line…
Get some (green cleaner) and spray the same as you were with the neem oil… that should help…
But you will have to give your plants a hydrogen peroxide and water bath when you cut them down… shouldn’t be to bad , depends on the infestation…
Once your done you really need to sterilize you whole set up… top to bottom…

:v::sunglasses:

Will the bath wash some off the trichomes of isn’t that where the THC is @peachfuzz

@Oldmantime with the hydrogen peroxide bath the trichomes will stay attached just fine. It just washes the nasties off. 3% of the peroxide is all you need. So about 1/4 cup or less for 8 gallons.

Do i just dip them in the solution. Or do thay need to soak a while. Thank for the help.

You want to give them a bath right after you chop them down… there is a video around here that shows you the whole process…
Let’s see if I can tag some people to get you that video…

That would-be great if i could find it!!!

@peachfuzz Did you remember where you seen directions for the peroxide bath.

The peroxide rinse will not harm the trichomes as long as you are gentle with them and dont knock too many of the capitate stalks. It will however dissolve some of the water solluble terpenes.
