My favorite part was where he asked her out on a date. She deflected him like a pro.

She certainly did.
The lady that did this has also done documentaries on the Mexican drug cartel operations, scammers, cocaine, pimps, counterfeiting, cartel weapons procurement, steroids,… She’s been in quite a few sketchy situations.
