My perpetual grow journal ( a lot you can do with a home office)

I count from the bottom up on the colas but make sure you account for your planting depth for transplanting. Sometimes if the plants are taller ill cut off the bottom 2 sets of branches/colas so i can plant it deeper. The branches lined up on the gary satan but almost none of the others. I count the branches in set of 2s even if they arent line up because thats just how i count my nodes. Im sure it hard to understand so if your confused i can try to clarify it or show a picture

Bottom up. But remember, the 5th node will give you 10 branches. If they are staggered…how do you treat the “nodes”?

Edit: @BigCat420 answered my question as I hit Reply! I’m a slow typist!

Light is important for photosynthesis and if you’re not giving your girls adequate lighting they won’t be too happy.

Totally boys… well thank you @Spudgunner and @BigCat420 . I am going in my veg tent now and going to top them. Def glad I read up on what y’all said a few times to make sure I retained it. I’ll post pics and we’ll consider this an experiment :test_tube:

Ended up fimming the majority of them. I made that judgement based off the branches that were the least staggered and the top ones were the best chance of growing back with 2. Managed to get 2 clones , there’s 3 different mimosa phenos in there so I’ll definitely be getting more cuts off them.

My 5x5 pheno hunt is filling up nicely . I will be flipping this weekend for sure . Just have to spread them out a bit and extend the flora flex bases as they were built for a 4x4. I just received the exstensions so I will get it done this Saturday and have these girls flipped.

Looking good! You’ll have some amazing end product before you know it! Remember on the fresh cuts high temp high humidity. Ive found 80 degrees and 80% humidity (both on inkbird controllers with about a 3 +/- differential between on and off) to be my sweet spot to keep my ladies perked up and happy with no wilt

Are you saving these for a rainy day or plan on moving on for good from the autopots?

I’m moving on from autopots and switching both my tents to the floraflex top feed system. I did like the autopots but I’m not a fan of not being able to control my humidity as I like to stick to vpd for my grow style.

Also I wanted to ask everyone or start a discussion perhaps about getting flavor and terpenes in your flowers when you grow with synthetics like myself. I know you get a better flavor profile when you grow with organics. Ofcourse a lot of it is genetic but I’m just wondering if anyone uses any organize to add flavor. Anyways love to hear what everyone thinks. Happy Friday y’all!

I haven’t ordered any, but it looks like a hybrid mix of the original jacks hydroponic blend and aquagold finisher maintaining the original npk ratio. Both plenty successful in the right hands, I think this will be a good product but I wouldn’t replace either if I had a decent supply.

I was thinking the same . I’m gonna finish my 25lb bag before I buy the new. I’m interested to see if anyone sees any improvement though.

I need to get new 25lb bags soon and ill probably get the new product when i do. Not sure if it replaced the old one or if its just a new formula. I probably got anywhere from 2-4 months left on my bag now so ill definitely scope it out before buying more
