A lot of people use 84 days as a general rule of thumb for autos and I can definitely see the reasoning now. My 70% indica dominant auto being at 71 days still needs a week at least, my 70% sativa auto needs another 2-4 weeks…

The Northern Lights i got are supposed to be really fast. Says like 65 to 70 days i think, maybe shorter. It’s a crazy short period of time. I’m chomping at the bit to get one of those started but don’t wanna get ahead of myself.
I’ve got the seed trays with the light and dome, i figure that’s the easiest way to get them started. Overkill but easier for me, somehow. 
I’m just complicated or slow… or both.
Lol, I probably just have beginners luck and one of my plants will definitely have to be turned to butter and rosin as she definitely doesn’t look too good.
Just a warning, autos don’t like being transplanted so you almost have to start them in the final pot. And I would curb your expectations for the 70 day, as I said 84 is the general rule of thumb and those harvest times are usually targeting the earliest harvest window. I know you like to get sent into the abyss like I do so an extra 2 weeks is probably called for in our situation.
Butter and Rosin aren’t a bad thing though. I don’t have a rig or I’d be doing those.
Yeah, i didn’t figure it would be ready till Dec or so. Still a lot of structure to form yet, the tris were only partially milky, telling me they were far from ready.
That’s usually when i know to pluck them.

Used to the ol lady didn’t want me growing but i did when i could. I didn’t care it was illegal, i wanted to grow my own meds.
Now it’s pretty much open, they don’t say much if anything and she knows i need it and how high it is to keep buying.
Me and a buddy have been passing a joint, went out and talked to one while my buddy held the joint once, guarantee he smelled me and said nothing. That was before legal was even talked about.
Cops around here are pretty chill, they are out for real drugs or bulk sellers. I don’t sell any, i grew it, i smoke it or come here and I’ll smoke you out.

I’m very happy with the first auto tent attempt.
Hopefully i get a nice harvest, if i get any I’ll be happy, this has been a learning experience for sure with a ton more to learn.

Your gorgeous gal is looking nice and plump now, she definitely needs to drink. I go through 1-2 gallons a day with all 4 of my ladies sucking from the same straw.

For sure, I’m still young and my brain does in fact work (sometimes too much). For better or worse I’m an old man in a young man’s body, unfortunately that young man has always thought like an old man and said f**k it we ball, leading to my current issues lol.
We are here for you, just make sure to think for yourself after you hear our “flawless” advise lol. We all work with what we have and make do, as human beings everything we do is only what is within our means while we set goals above our means leading to a sense of accomplishment, and you my friend, can certainly feel accomplished on this one, she is a pretty one for sure.
I’m old but not real old. Early 50s but feel like 80s most of the time.
I do as much as i can by myself, only get help if really needed.
My brain used to be young, the past cpl years have shot it all to hell.
I was the same, go balls out or nothing, which the same as you led to a lot of my current issues.
I’m trying to think for myself more, I’ll get more confident as i go.

For sure, this was a pure learning experience plant. It did exceed my expectations although i tried my best to kill it.
As long as it does the job, i could give a F less what it looks like. I just need the meds, not the beauty. Be nice to have a real beauty but I’m all about getting the most potency out of it.

Here’s the light i upgraded or will put it in once this plant is done. Don’t wanna screw with the light cycle or anything like that, it can wait a few weeks or a month or so.
Yeah, it’s not super high wattage but i grew mine with the cheap 100 watt ufo light, the new is 150 watts.
I also got the controller, shows it does too much to not have.
I like how it has all the settings, can control the light, fan, whole grow cycle but doubt I’ll do that.
I know the schedule I’ll want, set it at that and go with it.
Plus, the price was right for it. After seeing what a cheap ass light can do, this one should do a ton better.
Only 140 plus tax, worth the try. Def upgrade, then 25 for the plug in for the app.
It’s the same size as another like it but 30 bucks more and this is an updated version and 150 instead of 100 and same size.
Def wanted to go to at least 150 in the 2x2.
Interesting design. I am always thinking more points of failure leads to a higher likelihood of failure and a fan in the lights leads to a lot of theoretical issues. Definitely would work great so long as it does work for ya.
I figured it had pretty good ratings, I’d try it. Being a brand name makes me feel a bit better but we shall see.

It’s 13"s square compared to the maybe 6" ufo light.
