Smoke report. Cracked open the first two bags from the latest run.
Scent was like a tropical melon flower.
Flavor is mango cantaloupe and wildflower pollen.
Nearly no gas notes which I was expecting. Read that additional drought stress plus a touch of gypsum mid flower can promote more of that in my next run.
Scent was lighter than expected in the bag but comes out heavy when broken up.
For potency my gauge is that I’ve been smoking around 25% THC and 2-3% terps from the dispo lately and have been barely feeling it. This batch has me blazed comparatively, so assuming it’s at least above that.

With regulations up in the air went ahead and grabbed a ten pack of Moon Fog and Blueberry Pancakes on Humboldt’s current sale. I’ve read some interesting things about the moon fog that had me watching it anyways and looked like blueberry pancakes would make for a complimentary smoke. With what I’ve already got another 20 seeds plus the clone mother setup pretty sure I could get through the apocalypse much less until they can sort out interstate shipping again.

Nobody gonna mess with the seeds shipping. Testing cost for a zero THC seed and an easily overturned production isn’t worth it. They will stop the clones loophole though. Been looking into agar node shipping to Canada with proper declaration labeling of tissue cultures.

Definitely hope you’re right. I heard it wouldn’t impact it at first and then I heard that it would so I thought better play it safe. Canada is just a short boat ride for me if I only had a boat.

If I’m being real honest though it was just the excuse I used for the wife to buy more seeds.

Been on the ARC Raiders grind and not much to report. Even bought a new gaming PC but honestly have been wanting one since I can remember. Something about AI and Ram is going to become a big problem I guess so finally pulled the trigger.
I tried adding a little water in the cloning trap l tray but must not have vented enough for it to work or provided it too soon after the soak because they ended up over watered. Luck luckily loves a soak so went with her clones this run even though I had assumed I’d run another Karma.
Did a little training while they were still in the clone cups because luck likes to stretch. Decided to do the sideways LST on these for the same reason. I also just enjoyed it a lot on my first run and haven’t since but singles in the tray2grow space out really nicely for it.

The girls are doing good. A lot of ups and downs this grow. Over watered the clones, transplanted a little early, one case of fairly severe transplant shock… They’re pushing strong through all of it though and are mostly stabilized and on the veg run now.
I’m going to do an 8-10 week “veg period”. I’m week 13 from cutting and week 6 from final transplant. I was slowed a little from over watering early in cloning and maybe transplanted a week early for the proper root cage. So I’m looking at another few weeks and this was a few days ago.
I like the LST bend but I do think it’s slower in a way. Maybe I just need to get more efficient or the over watering slowed things more than I realized. I think it should produce significantly more terpenes from continued stress though and it allows for way more branches to be of height for the stretch. I’ve trimmed significantly less and while a branch or 2 needed to be snipped later I think this should help with final yield.

Well I’ve been dealing with a moth infestation (triple threat nematodes) and then found what I think were likely mummy aphids from castings but decided to treat to be safe (green lacewing eggs). I haven’t seen any more signs of the aphids yet and the moths are finally starting to decrease.
Overall health wise they’re doing great though. This is about 16 days from the flip.

Gave the girls a nice defoliation after 23 days in stretch. They’d mostly stalled vertical growth for a few days. I like to be closer to 15% but with the LST and significantly lower pruning in veg I probably took closer to 25% of the mass between lower larf sites and overlapping leaves.

Had to do another 10-15% defoliation last night, but plants look all the happier for it. Really happy with the girls this run and excited going into week 5 to see the stacking. I’m a little nervous because I’m running my light (AC Evo 8) a little lower at 70% these girls were showing a lot of light stress though at 80.

Last day of week 7 of flower. The bed that had less clover take is fading a few days faster than the other but both are looking healthy. Google says that the triploids usually bulk the most week 8 so
. I’ve been struggling with some unexplained humidity spikes but other than that really happy with this run.

Just playing the waiting game. You know the one, “Just four or five more days”. The plant further in fade hit right around peak a couple days ago. The other is the one I’m waiting on. I like a day and night smoke though so a week of ripening between them isn’t the worst thing. Was playing to chop tomorrow but looking more like Monday at this point to get the greener girl all the way to peak.

Thanks!!! Not sure if it was the lower light, triploid genetics, Ca, or Si. Probably a mix of them all really. Very happy with the trichome density, shape, and size this run.

Well decision made, these ladies are ready for chop tonight. Very happy with this run and ready to be back on that homegrown train. Somebody tell my wife harvest landing on Mother’s Day weekend was an accident though.
