Ahh
Good point
Richgro is the brand im usingā¦ so what was your ppm?
The reason why Iām asking is strangely enough my brand doesnāt report any ppm at all. Iām thinking itās just mud.
Just throw whatever amount you want in some water and let me know what ppm you get
The ppm didnāt change at all after adding it.
Same as my tap water
Isnt that interestingā¦ is it supose to.? Im getting a guy to send me some Indonesian quano ( phosphorus ) tomorrow so ill see if that has an effect on ppm
Heās really sending you bat shit from Indonesia. I agree 100% @Skydiver - 2 stages would make it soooo much easier for most stoners. LOL BTW my b day is 11/27- that is when I soaked seeds - I think I actually went into dirt 12/02 our girls are the same age. Donāt they grow so fast? LOL
Oh & I flipped February 1stā¦lol we are right in track to watch together.
Thatās cool @LoCoRock
They are tracking about the same in the cycle.
Here is what I have found on Rock Phosphate @GreenCoat
http://www.iosrjournals.org/iosr-jestft/papers/vol8-issue11/Version-3/D081132239.pdf
Seems it is insoluable based on what I read and understood from article and needs to be broken down by the soil critters to become available to the plants so maybe this is why it doesnāt add to the ppm reading when in solution?
My best guess anyway
Well itās 2:53pm here with winds sustained at 45-50mph gusts 65 and my power just went out. Lights came on at 1pm. I have a UPS power back up for internet and wireless just nothing for lights lol
Last night I treated for the Rust Fungus using 2 different biological products using one in feed water and the other as a foliar spray. I will update on how effective the treatment is.
Here is the info on the PreStop powder $30 for 100 grams and depending on the strength you want .01% .05% 2% etc I mixed entire package with about 4 gallons water and feed too all plants even new seedlings and clones even though they havenāt shown any signs of rust and are in another room.
Then I used the Serenade mixed for foliar spray on all plants as it says itās ok to use up until the day of harvest for fruiting plants where the PreStop specifies not to use foliar with fruits on plants.
I opens up one end of the tent closest to the basement window and removed the cardboard covering the window and got some natural light - not much but some and I cranked up the buddy propane heater.
Well the light came back on after about 45 minutes or so and reset everything that needed to be ā¦ humidifiers, fans etc.
While checking my plants I saw this on the Waikiki Queenā¦Hmm any thoughts on the balls?
Those are a set of balls my friendā¦you got seeds.
No way
Seriously
They were feminized seeds.
They look like swollen bracts. Donāt really look like pollen sacs
Thanks @BobbyDigital I hope your correct!
Hopefully Iām wrong & itās not hermād, but if so maybe itāll just stick to that branch/area B4 time.
They could very well could be harboring pollen sacs inside of them. As far as I can tell, there are no pistols coming out of them. Maybe clip them off just in case.
Thanks for the input @BobbyDigital
I just read an article instructing to use tweezersā¦remove one and open to see if seed insideā¦will try that and keep an eye on it.
Wait a minuteā¦does that make sense?
This is from articleā¦
HOW TO TELL THAT A FEMALE PLANT HAS BEEN POLLINATED
Among the early signs that your female has been pollinated is that her bracts become larger. Bracts are small, leaf-like structures that protect the femaleās reproductive parts. These are the sites from which the flowering buds appear. Do not confuse the bracts with [calyxes]
A good test to see whether the bracts have swollen is to take a pair of tweezers, grab one bract, and open it up. If there is a seed inside, you have a pollinated plant.
Another indication of pollination can be the colour of her pistil hairs. When a female has been pollinated, the previously white hairs will soon shrivel and become darker.
If it is male what about the 2 clones I took from it?
Male too?
Itās definitely not a male as there are female flowers around it. At most it hermied. If there are seeds, it means that is was pollinated at some point.
I see
Not sure how it would have been pollinated as the other 2 plants show no signs of being male and this is my first growā¦no opportunity to be pollinated that I can figure out anyway
That truly is odd. A plant can only be pollinated if there is pollen present. But I did see a post here a few days back where the plant produced seeds before it was even mature enough to do so. Iāll see if I can find it.
Here it is
