Happy to hear that, congrats!
Thanks!!
@Caligurl I must have brain farted, cuz this/your journal was set to Tracking and not Watching.
I missed your Canniversary, so Happy Belated Canniversary!
I also missed your tribute to Lacewing.
Thanks so much for honoring him and dropping one of his seeds, along with the very cool graphic you made!
Great advice about the peat pods.
I used a few when I first started growing, with A Pot for Pot.
Their kit included the peat pods, and they also instructed to not have them wet, just moist, and I never had a problem with them.
Your method of including cutting open the pods seems even better.
Thanks! Glad to have you here! I have to drop another Lemon Skunk Diesel… I went to check on them (I missed checking on them yesterday) and found this:
The root was growing up, not down and I planted it tap down. I dug it out and righted it but looking at the pic, the cotyledons poking out of the shell don’t look good. Yellow… but could just be from no light. I’m going to drop another anyway, just in case.
Here after I righted her:
But The Yeti Wedding came up and is looking good
You have Cnut. What about yucca?
Out of cnut and yucca (I believe), but I can get cnut easily. Water with it or for the new seed?
Aloe becomes your saponins to penetrate. So horticultural cnut put a teaspoon into 100 ml water and add 1 aloe arm and then a couple drops BSM. Purée strain and I use a dropper to hang a drop on the yellow or use the foam
Can use on both
Sweet! Thank you, my friend!!
Well, looks like she has some life in her still!
… and of course, #2 has a tiny tail but I stuck her in the tent on the seedling heat mat with my cactus seeds and I’ll probably put her in the jiffy puck when I get home later this afternoon. By then she should have a longer tail.
Sweet! I love new babies!
Who would have thunk…
What cute babies!
Well, my original Lemon Skunk Diesel isn’t looking happy (bottom right corner).. I don’t know if she’s going to make, but I’m not giving up just yet. The second one and the Yeti Wedding look healthy (so far) I’ve been severely neglecting them, and they are stretching because of the light I have them under. I’m afraid to put them out in the real sun and then get busy doing something and forget them, but I may try for a few hours today.
Well, she looks small but healthy… Probably just building up her roots!
I would just put them out in a place where I know there’ll be shade after a couple of hours…
I may have forgotten seedlings outside too…
Guilty as well. I set phone alarms to check, and I still forget on occasion.
The lemon skunk diesel I grew stayed short the entire grow (but she grew chunky buds), so maybe it’s a pheno thing.
My .02 is to keep her going; as Kap said, she looks healthy, to me as well.
