The filming techniques and style send it over the top, but if you really listen to what they’re saying it’s some pretty heavy stuff!

Yeah it’s really deep, and I experimented with lucid dreams for a long time and got really good at it so the dreams aspect of it really hit home for me

That stuff will definitely give you lucid dreams!
See - Van Gogh! Seems to me I read he was a absinthe drinker and many of his paintings sure reflect that!

A Clockwork Orange (any Kubrick film really…except that trash Eyes Wide Shut). The Godfather trilogy. Original Star Wars trilogy. Not a movie, but the show Black Mirror is great while high.
If I’m in for a fit of giggles, The South Park movie, Monty Python films, anything with Bill Murray. Wes Anderson films are great as well.
I actually prefer marathoning tv shows so I don’t have to think about what I’m watching. King of the Hill is awesome because Dale starts to make so much more sense while high. I almost feel like I can translate what Boomhauer says as well. Right now I’m watching Weeds and feel like Doug is my brother.
And there’s something to be said about watching music videos as well (back when MTV actually showed music). 120 minutes was my thing in the 90’s and alternative/prog/industrial rock videos were cinematic in and of themselves.
