Mixed up madness 4 to 6 babies with a DIY dripper system

Will do i will do this now. And check it. O another note since i have this new light my temp is balancing out a lot less jumping. Now i have a new toy tht scans surface temp and my babies are reading 24.7 24.1 and 24.5 and my other themometers that i have at different parts of my grow one low and one high and one just in the middle tht i check in the mornings to see wat temps etc were throught the light out periods. So when i look at all my data checking all the temps seeing the changes etc get lower not as big a swing now too. The lowest temp is 24.1 and the highest is 27.1 but thts using reading from different areas to get lowest and highest when i look at my temps individually my swing in temp isnt any bigger thn 1.5 degrees with any of them and surface temp on the seedlings dont waver much not even 0.7 degrees of a difference in the surface temp of the leaves and i only need to use my extractor fan and inline fan to maintain this environment for now i hope this is a good temp to keep them at for now. ?? @Countryboyjvd1971 @Sasquatch @FloridaSon @dbrn32 @garrigan62

Slurry testing what water should i use for this test i have deionised water or stuff in my dehumidifier or rainwater. ??? @Countryboyjvd1971 @Sasquatch @FloridaSon @garrigan62 @elheffe702 @Donaldj any one know what i am best using for slurry test plz.

I run my grows with leds between 78 and 84f. I posted this earlier for you and converted to 27-29c.

Cheers guess its doing ok for now then . Or should the surface temp of the plants be that. And should i use the same water for a slurry test as i do water them. ?

I think that de ionized water will do it

So i made up a slurry of all 3 of my babies and P.E which is a tad higher than i would like but its not to high its 6.7 but the other 2 G.S.C & S.B ARE RUNNING AT 6.9 AND 7.0 so am thinking its best to lower my ph in my feeds over the nxt few waters down to 6.0 and then see wat happens. It should bring it down just hope its enough to save them. Thy are not needing fed for a bit more but am thinking of watering them in the morning anyway to help lower the soils ph in a bid to save my babies. ? What you all think. @Sasquatch @Countryboyjvd1971 @FloridaSon @garrigan62

If they not thirsty dont water them. Gove it another day. When was the last time? Dont wanna drown the girls. N maybe go in 6.3. Not a bad spike @7 so dont wanna go in too low and shock them. Lower it gradually

Thanks for your msg and i decided to go with 6.2 purely cause that’s the number i got first time when was doing the ph level and as you can see they are doing better with this new light as well the P.E is looking very good apart from the burnt tips which am thinking was a mixture of soul and light but now am hoping the next few days goes by and the 3 that i have left will all be good but for now as you can see in the pics its only the P.E that’s doing good night top her not sure yet but we will see.

What the verdict now.
Question. I have thermometers in my tent etc to keep track of my temps i also have an infered thermometer aswell and its telling me that my surface temp of my babies are only 24.1, 24.5 + 24.7 should i try to heat it up more or is this temp OK its probably the first time i have had such a small swing in temps. I have a small heater i use for cold night should i use it or leave it. ?? My night temp doesn’t go lower than 22.0 c my lowest temp since new light 24.1 which is surface temp of the leaves. @Sasquatch @FloridaSon @Hogmaster @garrigan62 @Countryboyjvd1971 @dbrn32 @daz49.

That temperature is just fine for the girls. Very low swing is ok. If possible can u get a better photo of the funny growers. Id like to see eachs new growth

Here is pics i have just took and each time i post new pics i will take the pic as i upload it so it will be exactly how it is just now. So what you think
Here is the
S.B

The P.E

Last but not least the G.S.C

And thats the babies i have aand hoping they all improve am more than happy with my purple express is doing fine so hopefully they all recover aswell as it has.

Guess they are just funky growers man. :man_shrugging:t5: Long as they grow healthy… aesthetics are simply that. I defo wouldnt clone either tho. Maybe the purple express lol

Whatever the problem is, it’s in the root zone. I know pictures don’t tell the story well, but every time I see the soil, it looks really moist.

Only thing I can think of, my friend…

Maybe am over watering however the pics i post are not long after they get watered. But i am also letting them dry out a bit this time so i will try and post pics once its dried out. I have also tried to lower the soil ph a little with watering at 6.2 ph was going to go 6.0 but that may be a bit much to start with but al try do another 1 or 2 but atleast 1 to makesure my ph is lowered in the soil since its around 7.0 it sould be ok but its not so i might grow the S.B + G.S.C In a soiless medium in the future because am sure tht some strains just grow better in lower ph levels and 5.8 i think these two strains are maybe two that like lower ph levels i shouldve checked my journals on the S.B & P.E Am sure one likes the lower ph than the other so i will just wait and see what happens they are still growing ok so i will keep an eye on them. Am just worried now if my temps are low pretty steady at 23.4 & 26.3 today still to check surface temp on the leaves but thts been 24.1 to 24.7 so am pleased with the temps being so close together but wondering if they should be a little warmer by 2 degrees maybe. ? @FloridaSon @Sasquatch @elheffe702 @PurpNGold74

Maybe @Budbrother can help there. I only know outdoor and the temps do as they please.

I also agree that the target pH of 6.5 is a generalized target. At such a young age, though, is be uneasy with playing with the range. Very sensitive as sprouts, as you are seeing now.

I will leave the rest to indoor people more familiar with that type of grow.

Well as you all can see i have been having some trouble with my grow this time however after today and doing a lower dose of ph’d water to lower my souls phone which by looks of it is helped one of them as you can see from these pics one of them you can clearly see it improving. i have recently took my small heater and added it to my tent so i raise the temp to a warmer temp like 27 to 29 celcius 28 would be perfect and am aiming for that but will settle for anything in between.

Now see what what i mean. ?? @FloridaSon @Sasquatch @Budbrother @garrigan62 @Countryboyjvd1971 @elheffe702

I will allow my plants in veg to go 6.2 down max of 6.0 in soil. I run 6.3-6.5 and max 6.8 during flowering. I tend to let levels wander a bit. Sometimes close is all I care about.

This will show you nutrients absorption levels in your chosen ph range. I wouldn’t go down past 6.3 for a seedling, we’re dealing with a baby. If you wanna try growing it in a lower ph, shit, I don’t judge. I’ll happily follow along to watch.

VERY good point. It only just occurred to me that because of the plants’ different needs in different stages of life, the pH varying to allow better uptake of certain things at different times make perfect sense. :+1:

:+1:t3: Yep and I supplement with bone meal and seabird guano. No point wasting P

6.5 is what i like to but my soil is a bit higher than i like coming in at just over 7.2 then the need to lower it is a must. Am just thinking that the 2 bad babies might need a bit lower ph than 6.5 to get a better chance. But only time will tell. Thanks ya’ll for ur input.

Hey… honestly. That may work. Your plants after all. :joy: just remember. Watch that new growth. Whenever they straighten out. Write that down somewhere. Heck here.
