I know its impossible to pinpoint THC and CBD levels as different grow style and phones will change that, but that is quite a spread!
Here are the specs for Avidekel- Either this strain is more stable or the breeder is unrealistic!

I just paid for that one, waiting for delivery. I started 2 Cannatonic and broke the tap root on one, so Ive got one going.
I wasn’t really interested in CBD strains but I will grow some to make RSO. Then I can blend CBD heavy RSO with THC heavy RSO to make any balance needed.
Just got info from a local lab, $75 to test for cannabinoids:

That is what the Nightingale is going to go for mostly RSO and oil for capsules. That’s not a bad price for testing especially if you were going to keep a strain around.

Yes, goal was/is to get a stable of clones that I have tested and can go forward with to make meds knowing what the approx levels are.
I am making RSO this weekend and will send out for analysis.

Im kind of excited.
The RSO I have made in the past is very thick to the point of Tar-ness.
There is a theory that while using agitation etc maximizes the amount of cannabinoids extracted to the alcohol, it might also be getting resins and waxes which does not have any medicinal use, and causes my oil to be too thick.
So, I have decided that my my first testing will be identical batches of herb. I have made 2- 5 gallon buckets full of GDP, SOUR D, Gorilla Glue, NL, and Skunk.
I will pull out 200 grams and break up into small bits and mix uniformly. Then I will separate into 2-100 gram batches.
One batch will be put into a jar with room temp alcohol and agitated for 20 min, then filtered twice.
The second batch will go into the freezer at -20 Celsius along with the bottle of alcohol. After a day I will combine and put back into the freezer for 20 mines, no agitation, filter twice.
The 2 resulting batches will be processed into RSO with my already stablished technique.
Im hoping the non agitated batch flows and has less viscosity.
The real treat will be in the testing.

What might be changing the viscosity is how long you’re letting your RSO dry. I like mine to dry into a thick tar, almost taffy like substance. It’s easier to scoop up when dividing it up for recipes; then it just needs to be warmed a bit to get back to a more fluid state.
The freezing will help ensure fewer undesirable lipids/etc & more cannabinoids are extracted into your final filtered solution. But not agitating it will cause uneven extraction. It’s imperative to agitate it at least a little bit.
