I am sorry that I can’t reply to each of you. Your kindness and support have made me emotional. I need to get and keep my act together so that I can do that which I must do.
Thank you so much, everyone. I can’t really express what it means to us.

Oh lord, Merlin I’m so sorry to hear this! As your sister in caregiving, I know the many challenges.
My very best to you both, and please remember to be gentle with yourself and don’t neglect your own health/needs during this, it’s way too easy to do that.
@merlin44 Hugs and love to you and Shell!
You are the best husband she could have ever hoped for.
You two are in my thoughts!
All my thoughts and prayers are with Y’all My Brother. My mom had dementia and I understand the struggle. You are a strong man!! Keep on keepin on!!

Hi @merlin44 Thinking of you and Shell.
I miss your Tuesday update, though taking care of family is the much, much bigger priority, of course.
Thank you for checking in, @Twelve1. I will post an update next week.
For sure I look forward to your grow update, though you and Shell are more on my mind. Sending you both love and peace!
I have sucked it up. Here is my belated Tuesday update for all of my friends.
The grow is 94 days old. It has been 41 days since flipping to flower, which would put them at about six weeks into flowering.
Some of you may remember the two Gold Leaf seeds that were slow to crack, then didn’t produce any true leave or a main stem until for over a week. After that they were sickly and mis-shapen.
Here is a shot of GL-3 taken this morning:
It isn’t the largest plant ever but certainly respectable. The colas are very heavy and have been staked up to keep them off of the floor.
I haven’t taken time to clean up the dead and dying leaves for a few days. It looks quite the mess but here is a shot of below the canopy. You can see that it looks as though I have Lolli popped them but that is just the normal progression as the plant no longer needs those lower leaves.
This belongs over on the community grow chat topic, my bad.
These are the five Northern Light seedlings exactly seven days after breaking ground.
What is noteworthy here is the temperature and rH. The seedlings are doing just fine at >90 F and very low rH. This morning, before watering, it was 24%. By now it is up to 70% or so (after watering).
My seedling watering practices are not the common practice that folks talk about. Many folks give their seedlings 30 or 40 ml of water every day or two.
I put my cracked seeds into thoroughly saturated soil. They won’t get any more water for a week or more. When I do water them, I soak them thoroughly. And I mean THOROUGHLY! Water running out the bottom of the Solo cups. I then wait until they are getting dry and repeat. I know that it is time to water when the rH inside the dome drops. How long between soakings depends upon ambient rH and plant transpiration rate. Anywhere from 4 or 5 days to over a week between watering sessions.
I have never lost a seedling to stem rot or damping off using this method. I should mention that the water is pH adjusted to 6.5 and warmed to 70 F.
Stay safe from whatever form of disaster your part of the world is experiencing. We are fortunate to be well clear of any weather, fire or other issues.
Fantastic update…again!
Always sending you and Lady Gwendolyne tons of loving and caring vibes my Magical Friend!
Sometimes it’s a quiet storm, but a storm nonetheless.
Very nice update, all are gorgeous.
My best regards to Mrs. Merlin. I hope she has fantastic day with you.
This right here is exactly how I do mine.
I’ve noticed that the plants seem to do better overall and no damping off issues any more.
Great info and pics
Best wishes for you and Mrs Merlin for a glorious day my friend.
Stay safe.
Lookin good buddy, hope you and the Mrs have a good day today!
