Good morning and happy Saturday everyone!
It is time for my weekly update on day 36. This update is not very exciting as the plants are just busy growing until it is time to flip to flower.
I expect to install the SCROG frames/nets on three of the five plants this week. The other two will get their SCROGs about a week later.
I have not posted as many photo sequences as I usually do. Here is a little animation to show growth over the last 10 days. I didn’t take the photos with animation in mind, so it is not as smooth as it should be.
It is day 43 of this grow and time for my weekly update.
The only big change this week is that I installed the SCROG frames/nets this morning. From the photo you can see that I could have easily waited another week before putting the SCROG frames in place. The only downside to doing it early is that the grow room is a bit more crowded.
Over the coming week the plants will grow into the netting. They will fill the frame in the following week before flipping to flower sometime between 60 and 65 days.
Before installing the frames, I removed most of the lower growth that will not reach the frames. More lower growth will be removed as I determine which will not reach the frames.
I will install the frame for GSC-3 (front right) in another week or two. GSC-2 will not get a frame; it will just continue to receive LST with lower growth removed as I figure out which won’t amount to much.
Hey @Strungthru I have been playing again (what I do isn’t really playing guitar LOL). I am only able to sneak in a few 2 or 3 minutes practice sessions each day but it is better than nothing.
Last year I tried playing for my wife since she couldn’t “play” with me any longer, That worked for a short while but it became upsetting to her so I stopped again.
I know that puny 2 or 3 minutes per session, even several per day, will not help me learn to play the way that I dream of but perhaps it will keep me “in shape” for some future time when I can really practice properly and perhaps take lessons again.
