I seem to have a vague memory of you at one point having a possible legal issue and were going to be off forum for a while. May be someone else, my memory functions are slipping a little :slightly_smiling_face:

Correct. I did drop out for about 3 months last year. My Niece developed a psychosis and ratted out her husband. She knows I grow and I felt threatened and shut down my grow for a few months until she sorted herself out. I was bummed, as I had to throw out 2 plants that were half way through flowering.

Amazingly I had a almost exact issue on my current grow. It was my niece also. Had to trash 6 two week old plants. Stuff happens I guess.

Yeah, I was pissed at the time, but look back on it as a bump in the road and am happy that she is doing better now.

The shop where I buy my supplies from told me that the number one reason for getting caught is family/friends ratting on each other. After that, it is the classic “only house on the block with no snow on the roof” :man_facepalming:

Exactly what I was thinking when I shut down my grow. There was grow stuff here and seeds and whatnot, but without live plants they can’t really prosecute a case.

They actually run advertising campaigns here encouraging people to rat on their neighbours, so as you say “you can never be too careful”
I had a NL auto growing in my greenhouse when helpful neighbour stopped by. His face was a picture when he saw it. My arse collapsed but I kept calm gave him my best impersonation of a church minister and steered him towards the kitchen and the kettle. He never mentioned it and you could see the puzzled look as he questioned himself :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Can I transplant seedlings growling in peat moss cups directly into the new pot without removing the peat moss cup/???thanks

So long as the pot is made of peat, yes. The roots will grow through the peat cup.
