No I bought it Saturday on amazon for $188. I should be receiving it today I can’t wait
Nice!!! They had them 10% off on black Friday. I picked up a 700 and reflector 48.
Hey guys I just got my lights today and let me tell you that thing is bright…hard to tell on the picture because the auto dim on the cameras
Construction wise seems solid fans are very quiet. One of the reason I bought it was because of the footprint 22" by 10.5"
What do you think about the 700? That might be my next add on
It’s coming in today. I can’t wait!!!
Nice!!!
start them off at least 2-3 feet from the tops so you don’t burn the plant then work your way down to around 18-24 inches I like running about 18inch above the tops
Cfls are about 10.5 inches long ( bulbs to socket) this are pulling 68 from the wall each.plus 2 42 watt from the wall bulbs that are not in the pic
I have both the 450w Meizhi and the Viparspectra. Just posted here comparing both:
Hey buddy did you get your 700w mars2?
Oh man I did!!! It’s in beast mode for sure!!!
Sweet!!!
@fromanoc which of the two lights you think works best, the Meizhi or the Viparspectra?
I liked the Viparspectra better all the way until about 3 weeks into 12/12. The V seemed brighter and better quality construction, and produces stronger veg grow with bigger leaves compared to the Meizhi.
Then I changed my mind by the end of the grow. The plants under V finished flowering much faster and produced less bud (already showed orange pistils by week 3 and a half). The plants under the meizhi had smaller leaves, but the buds grow at a slower normal rate and plant produced more bud, at least 40% more. Buds were bigger too ! The picture I have now in the Match Bud of the month contest is of bus grown under the meizhi light.
The silver paint on the meizhi starter peeling off, and is my first grow. Anyways is dirty cheap. I might buy another Meizhi and replace the viparspectra:
Okay so Viparspectra is better in vegetative growth but Meizhi produces bigger buds right? That’s awesome cause that explains to me the difference in Par and degree angle that sets apart the two so instead of the Viparspectra 450 watt with dimmer switches I should go with the Meizhi 450 watt cause it will help finish the plant better in flower.
ok old thread , but i dont have yet 450 w Vipar . Is this blurple or like 600w VS (its like blueish white)? i buy one 300w VS and i regret, its so red. and compare like 2x 300w is not so bright like one 600w.
Now I need support lights and thinking about MEIZHI 600 and do my own compares .
600w Viparspectra vs 600w Meizhi. But all work together bigger purpose , ofcourse
