Yeah, it’s those teensy, tiny spider mites that you should worry about! That big fella was probably in there feeding on something (hard to tell but almost looks like a baby cricket and those will eat plants but they are easy to spot and remove) I might take a super close look at the undersides of your leaves. Don’t mean to freak you out… I think I check my plants every single day for pests :face_with_monocle:

Lol no worries, the best way to prevent things is knowledge so don’t worry about freaking me out.:rofl:

Just read in the news this morning that now (East Coast USA) we’re about to get an invasion of PALM SIZED SPIDERS. I’m having a heart attack in advance.

They say the news isn’t all bad, they like to eat stink bugs. Add lantern flies into the list and I’m golden!

I dont like that…palm sized…

Me either! They are very colorful though, so hopefully we can see them sprinting after us as we flee in terror…

No. I dont care how pretty…i saw a picture of the “Joro” spider. They say their fangs are too small to bite, but they are the size of childs hand.

Ooooh, we had those in Kansas and the females are really beautiful! Their webs are amazing and huge as well! The ‘palm size’ thing comes from their entire size including their massively long legs! Live in peace with them and they will take care of many other bugs and spiders that you really don’t want in your gardens!

Yea I don’t make a point to kill them, like you said they’re good for other bugs -but my cat does,
So if he finds any then I won’t be able to save them :woman_shrugging:t3:

LOL, I hear you! One of my cats loves eating bugs and it grosses me out to the max :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

LOL, mine too and even bought us a bunny that was bigger than her one day… it was alive and well but she was literally dragging it behind her. Oh, and the moles and voles! Those are nasty little, hissing, biting creatures!

Just giving an update on my girl with the discolored bottom leaves, if anyone sees anything they can give advice on I always appreciate it

I watered her Saturday and gave nutes for the first time

  • I filled a gallon jug with 10 mL of big bloom, 5 mL of tiger bloom and grow big, and 5mL of cal-mag. - gave her about 1/3rd of the jug

I did a soil slurry today and strained that to get pH and PPM of soil- is that how you correctly measure?
Ppm is about 515 ppm,
pH is right at 6.7

I have raised the light a little higher.
And she is at 100%
Ppfd is 520

And here’s my baby…
Just because,
Well she’s cute
And I’ve never grown one yet that didn’t stretch so I’m super stoked :blush:

I’m mad late @Lorenda_x that spider tho :eyes: I luckily haven’t had any pests yet, I’m assuming u got rid of it by now tho. I see u got it new girl in there too, I’m thinking u will honestly get a nice second plant in there. I’m waiting to see how it works out for u, cuz if I could fit two in my TS1000 tent, I’m doing it
