Pulling up my wheelchair to watch and learn @Lostgirl . I haven’t grown weed in dirt since… let’s see… 1976. Holy sh!t I’m old

Well this can not be missed! This is a god’s gift to the dark autumn evenings, thank you!!!
I had 3 Forbidden Runtz seeds for my outdoor grow, one only survived. It was definitely the most interesting one. The flowers were almost completely white from the very chubby pistons, they were short and really thick making the plant look like ice cream or something…
Can’t wait to see what you come up with..!
Im here for the upcoming shennanigans.
I’m following for the grow and the show.
@Bonjoyle welcome old friend
so glad you could come ![]()
Thank you, I will be a back row lurker, like the creepy kind.
![]()
Just to let you know, the back row is where we put the 15-year-old Reddit kids that are learning to grow underneath their beds ![]()
Oh hell no @Bonjoyle right in the middle with the rest of the rowdies ![]()
Oh yea, looking forward to the shenanigans!
And here I thought you had switched from the devils lettuce to romaine lettuce. I’m in for a good ride on the Agnes train. Class is in session…
I’m putting a little overtime in to get this show on the road. The tent is totally set and ready to rock and roll. I prepared my Solo cup soil.
I start with opening up a fresh bag of perlite and dumping it into a 5 gallon bucket with baby holes drilled through the bottom. I then run tap water through the bucket to get rid of all the dust particles in the nasty bag of perlite yet not losing any product.
I then use a 4:1 ratio of Happy frog soil and perlite in a small pan and mix well. I then add a cup of worm castings to the mix. (At this point I’m waiting on Amazon to bring my worm castings. ) Meanwhile, I add 1/4 of a bag of mycorrhizal fungi powder to the mix to Kickstart the microbial life.
Anytime I start a new grow I like to calibrate both the TDS and pH on my meter for assured accuracy. I happen to have a brand new in the box pen here handy and a fully calibrated it so we’re ready to rock and roll. I don’t use anything fancy when it comes to pens as I like this typical $25 Pen style that I’ve used for many years and haven’t had any problems.
Next I’ve prepared the Solo cups. When I drop my seeds I like to use the two solo cup method. I do it a little differently than most people. When the clear Solo cup I cut the entire bottom off and cut the actual cup straight down the middle.
Then I simply tape the cup with masking tape and put it inside cup number two (the outer cup). When I’m ready for transplant I simply put the clear cup into the transplant hole after removing the tape and simply open the cup with my fingers and slide the cup of dirt and roots straight it’s a perfect position in the hole and never touch a single root. I’ll show you this during transplant.
I know a lot of you guys like to utilize the biodegradable transplant bags and they’re fantastic as well. Like I said, I’m old school. I’ve used the same Solo cups for almost 2 years now ![]()
Have a great evening guys and gals. I got some delicious cake pie treats calling my name. ![]()
