ok gang, here is my cart. Please let me know if I am missing anything. Also, my room has been prone to flooding so i plan on putting the tents on pallets. Open to other suggestions for getting them a few inches off the ground
Also I have a good friend at King Solomon who just sent me their entire nute kit, so I’m going to be running 2 plants with Jacks and 2 with KS.
Looks like you’re pretty well covered except for media and seeds. A pat on the back for buying quality tools the first time. Lots of others would be much happier with their results if they would follow this train of thought.
Perfect. Been waiting 20 years to do this, might as well do it right
Wise words! You’ll do fine, you ask the right ?s, buying good equipment, helluva start!
Great list! Can’t go wrong with AC infinity supplies.
Holy organization Batman. You should get a free AC Infinity jacket.
Alight lets talk seeds. Can I get any Feminized F1 seeds? As long as they are from a reputable source? I heard S1s can express shitty genes.
for this investment I should get stock options
AC @IsItSticky on their office.
S1 seeds can be stable if they are backcrossed . S just means the plant pollinated itself or female pollen was collected and used to pollinate the mother or a clone from her. I am about to do a seed run and the pollinator will be a reversed female that will remain in tent with other females until the pollen drops, making all feminized seeds.
Sweet, do you feed it colloidal silver to make it switch or I’m guessing you probably have your own concoction . We’ll get there, the goal is to get into hunting one day.
I make colloidal silver and spray them.
I’m already there, lifelong hunter!
Ditch the 4 inch inline and get 2 of the 6 inch kits. You will thank me later.
The 4” is for the 2x2 tent that I’m only using for drying.
I run 2 inline 6s on all my tents. 1 in and 1 out. Overkill probably sometimes I’m really glad they are there. If you decide to get a bigger tent later still money invevested wisely. Also a 6 where a 4 should be lets you run at a lower speed adding to the longevity of the fans life IMO. Mine are 4 years old and never run above 1/2 to 3/4 speed.
Does anyone have a good video or guide on the correct way to collect and measure runoff. I’ve read some people prefer to measure the terminal runoff.
Saturate your media to the point that it just runs out bottom, let sit 10-15 minutes and pour more in and catch some of the runoff. I try to catch mine as it is slowing flow out the bottom. Catch in a clean receptacle and check with meter. In a 3 gallon pot, you will need 1 1/2 gallons to get proper runoff . In 5 gallon pots, you’ll need 2 gallons of water.
Do you also measure the ph and ec of the nutes before you water for comparison?
