Long time smoker, first time grower. Looking for a mentor

Stretch looks like it’s about done. Canopy filled out pretty well. Light intensity lowered to 1050 ppfd at the apical cola.

Stretch is complete. That trellis really saved my ass. Without it, they’d be poking through the top of the tent, plus I got a pretty even canopy.

Totally not necessary but thoughtful and much appreciated! Seeing your improvement and appreciation of what you’ve learned is the real reason I try to help out when I can! Here if ya need me.

@Growdoc Am I ok to trim these lower bud sites this far into flowering without stressing the plant out? Really just going for style points. One of my books said no pruning after week 2 of flower unless leaves are dying, so that’s why I’m checking.

This cultivar of Purple Milk is really starting show off. Tent smells like grape candy.

Yeah they are taking energy from the big girls up top, ink ow you weren’t asking me but thought I’d chime in, sorry

I trim it off mine, let them stack up too. I’ve not seen any stress to them, mine get regular spa days.

We are now on trich watch.

Now is when you don’t want to get in a hurry, let them get good and finished, ripening is the difference in great and crap weed with all else equal. Nice job getting here!

Holding steady for ambers

Just a tip
You want to be looking at the buds not the leaves when checking trichome ripeness as leaves will amber first
As @Growdoc said you don’t want to hurry at this point you have come this far you don’t want to harvest too soon

Planties are looking great still a few weeks to go, you want all the white pistols receding before chop

@Growdoc when is it time to flush, and for how long?

Also, I didn’t mean to cause a ruckus. I know these gals need 8-9 weeks, I was really just testing my macro lens to make sure it worked.

I don’t flush, I let them stack with full feeds til the end. Some do flush with plain water last two weeks. Studies show it doesn’t make any difference .

No shit? It doesn’t make it taste like crap? That’s what we’ve always been told.
