If you’ve adjusted your medium and are hitting the numbers you think you need now then No. Whats your slurries #s looking like?
His slurry was 6.6, ok. EC was 2.7, still a bit high, but in soil not too bad if organic……
My bad Im sorry I got my threads mixed up I though I was answering someone whos growing in coco.
In living soil I dont flush at all personally. And those numbers look fine to me for soil my friend maybe let your EC back down a touch by just using ph’d water for a week or so. They are resilient plants and can take more than we think. Good Luck you’ll get there just keep asking those questions and reading up all you can theres a ton of useful info around here.
Make sure to not overwater now that they are back on track. Pots should be light and plant wilting just a little.
Both criteria need to be met together. To know what a lite pot is take a pot the same as you planted in fill with dry soil set it beside the one with plant in it and lift to compair wieght.
Sorry if thats to much detail. Just pulling for your success.
Appreciate all the feedback gang, we’re gonna get through this together.
I’d give them a week and flip, that should give you a tent full!
I would take some of tje tall branches and bend them over and tie down LST.
Then like @Growdoc said flip in a week.
Just looks to me like you have plenty of room to get a much more productive robusk crop than just letting them grow straight up.
You don’t have to get as extreme as I did and do it in a manner that they don’t break . You can pull them down let them set 2 days and then pull again if they bend hard. Here is an example.
@Growdoc Do I have enough space to let them go until the weekend? They are really taking off; Considering getting some steaks to do some LST.
I didn’t wanna mess with training on the first run but I fear I’m going to run out of vertical space.
I think you be ok til the weekend, they should finish up pretty close to the lights without some bending though
HOME DEPOT TRIP!!!
Going to get some stakes to do some super light LST with plant twist ties.
To bad you couldn’t get something like this. Would make the tie down so easy.
Just in case put them together upside down so they don’t poke holes.
What were you saying about upside down? What poking holes? The stakes or the twist ties?
The cages steaks poking holes in bottom of tent. Average 5 gallon fabric grow bag is 12 inches across. Those cages are 15 inch squares. They could be built upside down around the pot to avoid disturbing root ball and the steak part that would normally be put in soil could face upward and still be able to be used to tie stalks to.
Glad we had this conversation because this is a good idea I never gave any thought to before. I use the round one’s now but they have to be put on early on not after so big but this seems much better. These can also be built to height and at 15 inches they should be perfect since my tent is only 32 inches wide.
By the way your girls are looking good.
Hey here we go some build your own.
Pvc pipe is cheap and can build the bottm like this. Set the pot on it so its not tipsy then build upward. Wheels are rolling now.
Ordered those pieces now to get the pvc pipe from menards.
Menards!! Oh how I miss Menards. Grew up in the Twin Cities. What thickness pipe are you using. I’m also trying to incorporate an easy way to use yo-yos so I want to be able to clip the yoyo to the piping. Amazon.com
How are you planning on attaching to the piping? Training wire? Or are just thinking of using this like a vertical trellis?
