Thanks @AL_GREEN! I absolutely love growing these plants. They are to me (and everyone else here :joy:) the most beautiful and medicinal plants in the world. I hope your season finished out well. Throw me some pics of how everything turned out. You know I’m a pig for bud porn. :joy::sunglasses::metal:t2:

I’m chopping the last of mine tomorrow morning in honor of Gypsy’s birthday. He had to have spinal fusion surgery recently and has been laid up with Sis tending him like Florence Nightingale. :joy:
I will be sure next season to plant the last round of autos to finish in October. It’s a good thing I only had one and in a 2 gallon pot because I’ve been chasing sun around the yard like a guy chasing butterflies outside the mental hospital. :joy:
I’m harvesting in the spare bathroom this time. I can chop, wash and dry in uninterrupted darkness. I’ve had the heat off in there for a couple of days and will be doing a swamp cooler with a wet towel hanging out the filled up tub with a fan on low blowing on it but away from the plant. It’s about 65 degrees in there now and slowly dropping (maybe a degree a day). Humidity in the house has been in the 30-40’s so the added humidity should really help slow down the drying. :sunglasses::metal:t2:

You guys have a long season down there. I’ve already had frost up here. All my outdoor plants are dead except the catnip. It’s perennial and is pretty tough.

No…no…I had to chop my last true outdoor plant at Halloween before the first frost. The one I’m chopping tomorrow is both indoor and outdoor. It’s a small two foot auto in a 2 gallon pot. So it’s been getting moved inside as necessary. In retrospect it should have been planted a month earlier regardless just due to lack of good sunlight hours without moving it hourly around the yard for 4-5 hours of sun. The tall trees around the yard and lower sun have dramatically changed the amount and duration of sunlight during the day. Glad today’s the last. :joy:
Lime is a whole nother story. I don’t think he has a break. Maybe throw some tarps for a couple weeks of frost. :joy::sunglasses::metal:t2:

Oh this is perfect flower weather lowest was 45f last week but for the most part it’s been 65-70f at night and mid 70’s - 80’sF during daytime sun doesn’t fully set till 5:30-5:45

Been growing the clones indoors/ outdoors for 2 months give or take

And normally we don’t get are real ice not snow freeze till the last week of January or 2nd week of February
Normally
Got all the clones In the ground and pots and it’s been raining on/off all day so the weather is working for me right now

This year was a little off October was warmer and more like September
It’s always a gamble but like the odds

Yeah it would have totally been dead by now otherwise. That’s why I put it in the 2 gallon pot because I knew I would be moving it constantly. :joy:

I remember thinking there wasn’t much of a break your way. That’s good. Idle hands are the devil’s playground. :smiling_imp:

The last plant of the season the Vida Blanca Border Jumper Auto 13 weeks got chopped, washed and hung to dry this morning. I also poked the stem through the bottom of a paper bag before hanging to dry. I’ve improved my temp, light and humidity this time and I’m hoping to almost double my dry time. I think my improved patience at harvest, better trich reading and improving my drying duration and conditions will be reflected in the final product. For all my follies this season…the buds I’ve harvested have been awesome and I’m certain this one will be too. Thanks to all of you! Without the generosity and knowledge of everyone here I would have nothing. I can’t thank everyone enough. You all are the most amazing growmies. :pray:t2::bowing_man:t2::sunglasses::metal:t2:
