Happy Friday!

So I have my big tent in the garage, it’s not insulated, dumb question should I get a small heater to keep in there, or will the plants inside the tent be fine?

You may need a heat source depending on the lights on temp and lights off temp along with humidity levels too.

I have the luxury of being in my basement so I can heat the lung room but I only keep it at 70 and the tent will get up to low to mid 70’s lights on and down to 69 lights off. I also have my pot wrapped with 2 seedling heat mats to help keep the roots warm until she gets older.

I also have a boot dryer that I have used inside the tent when it gets real cold but that has only happened once.

Yeah SD took a bad droop to the cold last night so imma get a heater for the garage and have it off set for the time they sleeping so it keeps it warm cause during the day the light gets about 85 and humidity is between 50 and 60

Looking good!!
I try to have my lights on during the coldest part of the morning to try to keep my electric bill down. I have my grow room inside, but I don’t use the furnace much I get free wood from work so it’s the wood stove for me. Unfortunately, it doesn’t keep the grow room warm.

Yeah I want to change there schedule cause now I have them 6 am til midnight so the 6 hours it’s off it’s probably the coldest.

the hard part is when 12/12 time comes. I feel like I’m always racing the lights out clock

Yeah I can imagine

I really wish they would stretch. Maybe I’ll raise the light some more and bump it to 50

Or they’ll just be shorties :person_shrugging:t4:

Look at her go!! :call_me_hand:

If thats what you want, you can encourage streching by rasing and/or lowering light intensity.

Yeah they moving pretty good for a month. I just want a little stretch but maybe I’ll just let these do what they want since I’m not to familiar with all the ins and outs yet. As the saying goes be careful what you ask for :joy: seen a few monsters strains that stretch and don’t stop lol

That should said rasing ur light or lowering ur light intensity :man_facepalming:

Truer words have never been spoken. Don’t forget in early flower is when the real stupid growth happens. The plant will double or even triple in size during transition and early flower. That’s literal and no Hyperbole. You can almost pull up a chair and watch them grow.

Thats exciting, so no need to want them to do anything they’ll probably do it on their own anyway, typical women :joy: (I am one so I can say that)

I like to manipulate the node spacing a little for training and experimentation, but I don’t i think it makes the plant, or product any better than other training methods

I can’t get my humidity under control in the tent in the garage hopefully when the heater comes today that’ll help the tent can’t even get warm cause the garage is so cold ugh frustrating. I think the humidity is high to cause the pots are still full of water, maybe 1 gallon was to much after they dry maybe a half gallon and work way up. Trial and error with doing new stuff

Do you understand that Humidity is relative to temp? I don’t mean any offense, I’ve just found that a lot of people don’t remember science class and have those gaps in their knowledge.

Actually no drop some knowledge on me cause I’ve never truly thought about humidity or temp, especially growing something inside, so is the cold making a difference or is the heat and the cold working against each other, should I even really worry if the plants are fine, I know SD like hot but low humidity so that’s what environment I’m trying to create for them.
