Hahaha nice let me know how you make out
I think you be wondering why you waited so long brother I know I did
So, your telling me the light travels ten feet and all the plants get enough light to grow well??
Yes sir when I have a full house it does I can do six to eight plants in 5 gallon pots in my flower room I centered track in room and with the foot print of my fixture I cover it all 7 foot cieling height
About $250 isn’t that bad for it if it works.
It’s worth the $ you definitly save in elec with out adding more fixtures to cover the space
Holy hell! Thanks for all the info and I’ll definitly our this on the must have list after I pedal away some product!
I’m sure it’s pretty low voltage too. I’m thinking if I fabricate a bar to hold all three lights it will work perfect.
Yeah draws next to nothing bro you won’t even notice it on elec bill
@Countryboyjvd1971 I have three qb135 fixtures that I’m thinking I’ll fashion into one fixture and then attach to the light mover. Sound like a solid plan??
That was the winner! Just ordered the Light Rail 4.0. Thank you everyone! Ill post some pics when it comes in
It was worth every penny I promise @EclecticJack
Hello again, I just wanted to give update and a thanks for the help.
I got the Light Rail 4.0 and put it up for testing about a week ago, I only just turned it on for active duty today. Very nice, very stable and sleek. Took 15 minutes to hang. It came with the motor on the rail with the connector spikes, so rather than rip those out, I just turned on the motor and “walked” it to the other rail. The motor seems super powerful and doesn’t make a sound. I suspect the motor will last a lifetime…the power cable, not so much.
The rail has pre-drilled holes and comes with screws so if you have a solid ceiling or wooden frame, you are set right out of the box. If you own a tent, those clips are pretty much needed so plan to spend more. I’m on the fence with the ‘stabilizer bar’ but I can certainly see its use. I used my ratchet ropes for stabilizers and “fake” peace of mind.
The slide hanger clip has two holes with one zip tie (included with hanger clip) to the single pole and a larger zip tie (not included) hooked on to the rest of the frame.
The light itself is hanging by a single ratchet cable for four safetys that will at least prevent a total crash down.
The size of my light footprint vs the size of my tent was the deciding factor. Overall I felt like it was a must have because the motion helps prevent heat related issues due to distance, and I can bring my light closer and get more PAR. But it is definitely on the pricey side with each required accessory pushing up grand total.
Thanks again @Countryboyjvd1971 @Hogmaster @MattyBear @Familyman
You will love it looks great
