well after long and hours of searching and im surely ive been in pain for the past few days the 44’’ EB Gen2 8x running off an hlg-480h-c1400a 4x2 build i just want to make sure i dont burn my house down lmao even if i had to do 16x for a 4x4 area i just wanted to be sure if 2x drivers cant be connected by a three way ip68 connection and have each drivers run 8 strips running them in series looking back at your eb build
I’m pretty sure connector voltage rating is 300v. Line to line voltage on that would exceed that.
If you mean the power cords, yes they can be.
what driver would you recommend running 8x of the 4 foot strips at 75% rated power that they can hold ran in series and yes i meant the power cord
HLG xxx C1050 , 8/9 22’ strips that would be 4 44’ strips 185 ive confirm this and understand im just trying to build somthing close to 1000w HPS i just need a driver and how manny 22’ /44’ can it run
You shouldn’t use driver with output voltage over 300v, which would eliminate 8 of the 1120mm strips in series on a single driver. . You would have to wire in parallel, use 2 drivers, or build smaller light.
Hlg-240h-c1050a is biggest single driver you should wire in series at that current from meanwell hlg series. 11 gen2 560mm, or 5 gen 2 1120mm.

I’m trying to see if I can throw about 12-16 in 2 gallon pots under a 4x4 using gen 2 20gen2 22” x2 drivers strips
I’d say from the footprint more like 8 to 12 under that. But that’s just a rough cut. It is definitely enough to veg but not sure if enough intensity to flower out dense nugs.

Two hlg-240’s full would be pretty good in a 4x4.
Not really. I would expect to use something like 400 watts of those to veg and 600-700 to flower.
So with that be sufficient enough from seed to harvest auto flower run 12 plant set up underneath 20 2foot strips x2 hlg240
I would do 11 strips per driver with the gen2, but yes.
