The old scorpion far red is 3 years old. The new light is the Diablo X. I think the scorpion 
is doin better than the Diablo as of now but we just started flower.

I’ve been considering upgrading my HLG 260XLR to the FR boards. Any advantage in that??? Your thoughts??? In a 2x4x7 gorilla tent if that affects answer.

I’m not an expert on lighting. I just went with my gut and dbrn suggested hlg so I went with it. I didn’t get top of the line. One step below. I have no complaints with hlg whatsoever. The scorpion far red is a beast of a light. The Diablo X is getting its first run so I can’t judge it till I get thru flower.

I Contacted silverstar Seed bank about the Alien Treatz and maybe you have the only seeds left. This is the reply I got.
Alien Treatz was released close to 2 years ago, and has sold out probably about 6 or so months ago. Titan will not be making any more of them, because he no longer has the mother.

I totally satisfied with the HLG260R even the straight 260xl before I upgraded to the r boards (only 4 screws) just wondering any advantage to the FAR RED?

Most definitely makes a difference. I will only use lights with far red. If You try it you will be sold.

It imitates what happens in nature. Early morning and late evening you see your reds. Mine stay on all the time some growers have there’s set up to come on for a few minutes early when lights just come on and then for a few before lights out. I think it’s better to have it all the time and my plants dig it so
